How many nights do you usually visit WDW?

We have done everything from 7 to 14.
14 is too long and 7 is too short for us.
9 nights is our favorite number!

We've done from 7-10 and 9 seems to be just about perfect for us.

The last two trips we took were five nights. Our next trip in Feb will be six nights. I can't wait.

We booked 7 nights with free dining and now realize that just isn't enough time. We can't even get to each park twice, and no relaxation time will be built in. Rooms are available if you check availability for the dates we want to stay, but not under free the dining quotas, so WDW says we can't stay unless we add a second room for the entire trip  so we won't be staying.... I really wish my husband hadn't insisted on getting the heck outa there as soon as possible after Christmas only to change his mind when it can't be done :confused3

I've never stayed more than five nights in the many years I've been returning to WDW. That is perfect for me! Yes, we go-go-go but I can "rest" when I get home! :drive:

we will be doing 8 nights in 2 weeks!!! That's the longest ever for us. We have usually done 5, 6 nights. We did 3 nights twice and that was fun but felt rushed. Once was for MVMCP/DH's birthday, and once was for me to run the Princess Half. I think 6 nights is a great amount if you can. :goodvibes

Yep, surely depends on how often you go, which usually ties in with how far the travel is (and your budget! hah!)
Coming from CA once every few years we try for ten nights, that's seems good enough get over the jet lag, see parks twice that we haven't covered fully, and not rush too much.

Have a great time!
:goodvibes

We like to go for a month, although we never have, we would still like too.:)

We go for 8 days, full 7 in other words.

We went for 9 nights last time but we go offsite to visit other places too. We spent about 6 1/2 days actually doing Disney things and that was plenty.

We've found that staying 15 nights works best for our family.

We are doing 11 nights this summer, we normally do 10 nights. Somehow, :confused3 10 nights is not enough.

Everyone, I am being torn for my December trip. The plane flights are getting costly. I was originally hoping for 6 nights. With that means.....

At worst case scenario, I'd get 5 nights monday through friday at WDW.

Night 6 might be a Sunday night or just go home on the Saturday after 5 days.

What do you think? How many nights do you visit Disney? Is 5 nights enough during the Xmas season?

I think the answer depends on whether you're paying rack rate and/or what discount you've applied and if you have APs or are purchasing length of stay tix.

From August 2011 - August 2012, we stayed a total of 34 nights at WDW resorts. But, we split that up into 3 trips, drove, used APs and the 40% military room-only discount.

We have tried 7 8 10 and 14 days. And found that 10 nights is perfect. Less than 10 you want more and more than 11 the kids are spent.

We've done 3 night/8 night/and 5 night trips. In my opinion 3 nights is to little, those I always felt like we had to do things to commando style to get everything done that we wanted to. 8 days was a little to long for us. 5 nights was PERFECT!

From now on I think we'll stick with 5 or 6 night trips.

We went for 8 nights/9 days. 4 days at Universal and 5 days at Disney. We were so ready to go home by the 7th day. I love Disney, but we missed our home, even the kids were asking when do we fly back. If we would split between Universal and Disney again, I think I would do 3 days at Universal and 4 days at Disney. If it's all Disney, I would do 5 nights, but no more than that.

We just did 8 nights and stayed on Disney property the whole time. It was fabulous but we were so ready to come home that last day.

We have always gone for 12 days during thanksgiving but since little one has started highschool this is going to be our last mvmcp this year:sad: on the positive side we will be going next August for 15 days as I am hoping to secure a bounce back w/free dining to be able to utilize the waterparks and mini golf!!! We will really miss the holidays though but coming from the west coast a short trip isn't realistic when u loose a full day in flight, but that is just us and this is our 14th year going home to Disney.:)

We think 9-10 is perfect. We did 8 and still missed things. If money was no object...2 weeks

For us 6 nights/7 days is perfect. It's not too short and not too long. When we leave we feel like we don't want to leave yet which is a better feeling than wanting to get the heck out of there because we've had enough.

6 nights, 7 days works for me. My longest trip was 8 nights, 9 days which was to much for me. I always schedule my departure flight late in the afternoon so I can enjoy at least a half day somwhere at WDW before heading home.
