How many nights do you stay?

When our kids were younger we'd stay 10 nights. Now that just DH & I go, we've changed it to 5 - 6 nights each trip. We go just about every year so don't feel that we need to stay so long.

We only get to go to Disney World once a year so we try and stay as long as we possibly can. Our trips started out at 6 days and we've gradually added more days until we are now onsite for 11 nights.

Our first trip was in 2007 and we did 9 days. Our second trip was in 2008 and we did 10 days. Our 3rd trip was in 2010 and we did 12 days. Our 4th trip was in 2011 and we did 15 days. This year we are staying 17 days. I see a pattern. LOL. I need at least 14 days in Disney now.

I have a feeling the same will be true for us :)

we have already almost doubled our stay from last year to this.

The one thing that might stop us, is that we are doing Sunday morning to Friday night (13 days total) In order to stay any longer we would have to pay the premium cost of Friday/Saturday nights. at which point, we might as well stay the rest of the week too :P hahaha so it seems like its 13 days, or 20 :P

Our trip started out booked for 12 nights booked with DVC, then BCV had a night available so we added that. Then Disney offered the 30% off deal so we decided to try a moderate and flying out Thursday was cheaper than Friday night. We figured tack on the extra 2 nights, no biggie. Then we ended up getting airfare for $80 to leave on the Saturday instead of the $145 for Friday, so we felt lets take the airfare money and put it towards an extra night of hotel.

Usually 7 to 8 nights. I would love to stay longer but it's about all I can manage at a time since someone has to watch the 3 dogs (family or boarding). I dream of the DCL Repo cruise through the Panama Canal but I haven't been able to convince my mom to dogsit for that long.

For our honeymoon, we did 11 or 12 nights. So fun!

Most of our trips we average 8 to 9 nights. I wouldn't do less....we live on the west coast, and don't get out to Disney World too often.

Because of DHs work we can only get away for 6 days at a time. I would love to be at WDW for 2 full weeks..not in the cards yet for me:)

I honestly think I'd go nuts staying in a hotel for 10-14+ days.

I would too, but I last longer in a multi-bedroom condo. ;)

Can totally relate to the geriatric dogs thing. Most of our cats have been fine with us gone that long, but one of them can get pretty wound when we're gone more than a week. But our "adoptive grandma" (a lady from church the kids call grandma) takes that one cat in, and as long as the cat has a lap to sit in regularly, she's good. :thumbsup2

We're fortunate that hubby has three weeks vacation time a year, so we can take another vacation even if we do spend two weeks in Orlando. :cool1:

9 nights/10 days is our usual. We arrive early in the morning the first day and stay as long as we want on departure day. We did 7 days one year, and it just wasn't long enough. We drive from Ohio.

We started in 2003 with 7 nights - after that we kept adding on.

Our July trip is 16 nights!
