It's cold and I am living through everyone else at the moment waiting spring !!

Sounds like a good idea. How is it working out for you?

Other than being terribly jealous of everyone's recent trips to FW, it's going ok :lmao: We went on a daytrip in the motorhome yesterday, down to Cabela's (a little over an hour from home). We took the dogs and spend a few hours in the MH and doing a little shopping too. It was nice just to be in it again.

We are coming down to FL in late March for spring break (Panama City Beach). :cool1:

We have 76 nights on the calendar at the moment for this year, 15 of them will be during our FW trip in December, so that puts us at around 60/61 OTHER nights of camping.

So far..... I have 27 non-Disney nights planned for camping this year, and I have 20 nights planned at Disney.

In 2007 I had 11 nights of non-Disney tent camping, 10 nights of non-Disney T@B camping, and 14 nights of Disney T@B camping.

Well, when dh comes home on R&R, we will be out about 14 nights. I will be spending 13 nights on my trip to WDW next week (9 at the fort). Not sure how often I will get to camp this summer with the kids. There is a campground north of here with jacuzzis at your campsite. I definitely want to spend some time there. I can put the kids to sleep and just relax. It is only 3 hrs away.

Next year we will spend 30 days in a row heading west to see Mt Rushmore, the grand canyon, the giant sequoias and, of course, Disneyland. :lovestruc

We hit a few state parks in the spring and fall. During race season, we hit at least 1 race track a month for 3-4 days. Plus one 7-10 vacation somewhere. This year it's at FW!
So in a normal year... Probably 25-35 nights out somewhere.

I posted about 40 nights. Can I just go full time now or am I too young lol. When DD get's a few years older I told her I'm going to work at the fort during the slow months in my biz.

We take our tt out for 10 days at the beach each summer and one week at the mountains, so just about 17 days .

We only go to WDW about every three years or so, couldn't really go more than that because I really like it to be special whenever we go and spend so much money. I couldn't go every year and love it like I do. To tell you the truth I really don't see how people can go every 6 months to WDW and still feel that special thrill of magic.

So we really only take our camper out about 17 days a year that's about all we can afford. :sad2:

we do 3-5 state parks a summer, mostly in louisiana, but lookin to expand our horizons now that we've covered most of these.

We usually spend about 4 days at Gulf Shores, AL and about 4 days at Gatlinburg, TN each year. Every couple of years, we take a longer trip to see different parts of the country. Our last trip like that was to Amish country in PA (Lancaster country, Hershey, etc.). That trip lasted about 14 days. In 2009, we are planning to visit Washington D.C. and Williamsburg. Of course, none of this can interfere with our yearly visits to WDW - we are addicted! :)

Where is the campground with the jacuzzis? My wife would love it, and would have no problem making me drive 1000's of miles to find it :)

Where is that campground with the jacuzzis at your site? Sounds nice.:thumbsup2

We would love to go to Grand Canyon. Also would like to go to Yellowstone when we can ever take enough time off work. That is a LONG drive from Virginia.

I am in the 41 - 60 range.
Scouts - what else can be said?
Oddly enough the only time I get to use the PUP is at Disney - everything else is in tents.

That's the nice thing about staying in Scouts once your boys get out. I still go camping occasionally with our Scout troop, but I now take the camper. (Of course I pick the campouts where it would be feasible.) Of course when I go to summer camp and National Jamboree I'll be tenting it with the rest of them. Got my 15 year pin the other day, but "It's only an hour a week" :rotfl:

In 2007 we only camped twice but both times where at FW. In Jan./Feb. for 12 nights. Then Non./Dec. for 14 nights giving us a total of 26 nights for 2007. For 2008 we have 14 nights at FW for Nov/Dec. Then 4 to 6 nights here in Texas. Wish it was more.
