How many new restaurants and new stores in Disney Springs?

I'm on My Disney Experience right now. The only one of these showing up for me is The Boathouse and Morimoto. I must be doing something wrong :magnify:
On MDE click the restaurant tab, top menu. Then the funnel, bottom right. Pick disney springs and done.
You can see the restaurants on the map or on a list

In early June we went one evening for a chance of pace and to look around and even though it was not all open I was impressed by all to see and do, plus several open venues with live music. We hit the few usual stores as many of the others were of no interest to us (high end outlet types) nor are we big time shoppers, but the place was packed as were all the many bars and restaurants. Understanding many people would not be interested, but for those who like to shop and dine it is an impressive place.

Not trying to bogart the thread but has anyone been to Disney Springs at night? Are there any bar/music places for adults besides Paradiso?

A better question.

How many unique places that aren't already at your local mall? Hmmm..

Looks good on restaurants, but the shopping???? And my mall has AC LOL!

Bar style areas are :
Outside patio for house of blues with live music
Outside area of Splitsville with live music
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar
Outside bar at Raglan Rd with live music
Margarita bar across from Ghirardeli with live music

There we several unique stores that are not in our local malls, plus the largest Disney store in the US (we have three malls in our area including two I would describe as high end stores). Prices at DS are certainly mid to high end, not a place with discount outlet stores!

Not sure of the total, but there are A LOT more than the original DTD. A rough guess from out recent visit would be 30-40 and that may be low. We were there a couple weeks ago and have decided it is now a place to avoid. Back when it was DTD, it was small and mostly Disney themed and fun to hang out some while on vacation. Now it is nothing more than another outlet center, at least to us. So, we will just remove it from our plans in the future.

I totally agree with you! I may venture there to eat at a particular restaurant occasionally, but after seeing it in May, it just reminds me of a congested, over priced trendy city shopping area.
