How many more days until your trip to WDW? (Part 2)

Things have been so crazy! I'm just praying that my son's cast will come off on the 19th before our trip so that he can swim! It has only been one week and I wish we could get that dirty smelly thing off his arm!

I know your agony of a son having a cast on during the Summer months. My son had to wear his for 6 weeks. We sealed off the top of the cast and around his palm with duct tape. Next, we wrapped his arm in a small white garbage bag and, again, wrapped it in duct tape. Then, we put a large black garbage bag over the white bag and wrapped it in duct tape. He swam like a fish and, when we took all of the tape and garbage bags off, it was just a teeny tiny bit damp. That may have been due to the fact that he kept trying stand on his hands underwater.

Thanks! It was either go to the beach or back to Disney and since I was worried that the cast might not come off Disney won! There is tons to there for sure!
