I found your PTR on the Aug11 thread. I can't believe that you're 14 and writing a PTR! That's awesome! I'm surprising my DD11 for her 12th birthday and we're going with her bff and her mom. I'm looking forward to reading about your trip. My DD hasn't been to Disney since she was 6 and doesn't remember very much about it. I'm super geeked and trying not to be the geeky mom, but it's just SO hard! Since you're "kinda" close in age, would you skip the Beauty and the Beast show? I know, HORROR! Skipping a show? I've seen it, but I just think that there's a lot more to do at DHS that is more worthwhile. What are your thoughts? The Little Mermaid show is under renovation, so we won't be seeing that one either. Give me your opinions. I have the personalized maps so she and her friend can decide on must do's. I also plan on going to the make a t-shirt store at DTD on the first day so they can make a shirt commemorating this trip.

Hi! Thanks for reading. Aww, your trip should be so fun! And it's so close. Haha well for your question, I may be bias because Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie. I must admit though, when I'm at DHS I get a bit cranky because there's not too many quick dining options and I like doing a lot of rides so my mom had to drag me to the show last year, but I was happy she did because I really enjoyed seeing it again! That's too bad the VOTLM show is closed when you're there. I just checked and I saw it closes the day I leave, which is good for us because we skipped it last year! But anyways, my advice would be to try and fit in B&TB if you can but if not there's plenty of other things at DHS. I like your idea about the maps and shirts!

Hi guys! I just thought I'd share a few things with you guys.
1) We changed our park plans around a little bit so we hop more. I'm excited for that!

2) I just finished up a video a couple minutes ago of a few Disney Princesses and I'd love to share it with you Disney-loving people. It's currently rendering (that is how a video saves on the editing program - Sony Vegas.) When it is done, I'm uploading it to my youtube account and then I'll post a link here. It should take about 20 more minutes so I'll just leave this tab open until it's done.

We will be at the world from August 3rd - August 13th. We have free dining so we'll be doing a few new restaurants! I love Disney planning, so I made all them for us. Here's what we have planned:

August 3rd- Crystal Palace at 7:15pm
August 4th- Le Chefs de France at 7:30pm
August 5th- Cinderella's Royal Table at 10:00am
August 7th - Liberty Tree Tavern at 5:35pm
August 9th- Via Napoli at 6:20pm.
August 10th- Spirit of Aloha at 5:15pm
August 11th- Le Cellier at 12:15pm & Biergarten at 6:45pm
August 12th- The Plaza at 1:10pm

Everything is booked and my mom actually payed off the vacation today!

Thank you very much! Here they are...

August 3rd- Still same plan as usual, we're heading to the Magic Kingdom after we settle into Pop!

August 4th- We're going to hit Epcot at rope drop, then around lunchtime take a break for a couple hours at DTD & do some shopping, then head back to Epcot for the night.

August 5th- Same plan again, Magic Kingdom all day long!

August 6th- We're going to get to DHS at rope drop and stay there till whenever. We're probably going to take a midday break at Pop and then back to the park at night for Fantasmic!

August 7th- Epcot rope drop, maybe more DTD shopping and then to the Magic Kingdom for EMH!

August 8th- Animal Kingdom rope drop! They have EMH that night, but when we see all we wanted to we'll head over to Hollywood Studios and then we have reservations at Boma at around 7:30.

August 9th- Rope drop at Epcot, break at Pop, back to Epcot.

August 10th- Animal Kingdom RD , staying until sometime in the afternoon. Then we're heading over to the Poly for the luau. We're planning on exploring the monorail resorts for a little bit after it ends (7:15) and then seeing the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes from the beach.

August 11th- Same as the 9th!

August 12th- Magic Kingdom tour in the morning (Marceline to the Magic Kingdom) and then staying there all day. We have the Wishes dessert party booked.

If we get up early, we might even go to a park on our check out date. You never know. Now it's almost 2 days!

I am sure you are getting excited-your trip is right around the corner!!!

I certainly am! 2 more sleeps and one wake up! Or, in simple terms, about 2 days.
