01 for ranger - 162,000 miles on it. The radiator, sway bar, something with the axel, and a few other things have been replaced. Totaling a few grand. Some stuff like the sway bar was the fault of the driver, not the car. Other than that, just routine stuff. Tune ups, shocks, brakes, tires, oil changes sure do add up over time. Bought used in 04 with 49,000 miles on it.
95 mercury villager 211,000 miles - if it can be replaced, it has been. Still looking at 1700 for a transmission rebuild. But other than that, it actually runs pretty good. It was used as work car, gaining a lot more miles than it should have. But it hasn't had an easy life since.
My aunt drives an 00 or 01 honda accord with less than a 100,000 miles and hasn't had any major work done. Just maintance stuff over the years.
