The countdown is getting closer so I'm in the 'thinking about trip' mode. Just wondering--how many miles is it to FW for others? Our trip is 685 miles one-way--and worth every mile!!!

I want to say around 1,300 miles, but that may be all the way to Marco Island... I'll plug it into the GPS when I get into the car and see what it says!

From the point where I leave my driveway to point of stopping the vehicle at check in at FW it is 750.3 miles. About 12 hours of driving.

I believe it's something like 1700 miles! Each way!! :bounce: We stop in SC the first night down in Florence...(which is listed as the half way point to Disney in the campsite guide we have! :p )

Not sure of the total distance I would guess approx 1200 miles. We are leaving southern Ontario and I have been told it takes 21 to 24 hours of straight driving to get there. I am a little nervous as I have never drove to FW before. I am hoping to get past Atlanta the first day, stay over and finish up the next day.

Approximately 685 miles for me from N. Alabama.

Can usually make the trip in 11.5 hours.

1300 miles. I hate it when we're driving, but the end result is worth it! Winter is the worst!

A little over 1500 miles. It takes us 23 hours to drive. Sometimes we drive straight through, and sometimes we spend the night in Chatanooga. :)

We will drive 1300 one way for our first ever camping trip at Disney. It is also my first trip to Disney. We leave Friday night and we are really excited. Hope it measures up to our expectations.

Around 560 miles for us, and it takes us around 10 hrs., give or take, depending on how many stops we make with the babies.

For us it is 1650 miles one way. The "fastest" we have done it is in 27 hours, but usually it is around 29. When we go in my parents motorcoach, it takes us about 31-32 hours, as the speed limit is slower through Illinois for RVs.

According to one trip planner I checked it is 970 miles one way. With two kids in the backseat, 500 miles is a pretty good one day distance.

Frist time driving down-
Total Distance: 1124.61 miles
Total Estimated Time: 18 hours, 14 minutes
Stopping first night in Santee,SC @the Days Inn. Anyone else ever sleep here?

Once a year we would drive about 1100 miles one way when we lived back north in Jersey and now we drive about 1800 miles a year because we now live in Fl.

Welcome to the DIS! I think we can all assure you that it will measure up and you'll have a great time!! Be sure to report back and let us know how everything goes!!!

We drive about 1400 miles.... takes about 21 hours or so. Depends on traffic on 95 in the north east.

Living in S.Fl it is around 300 miles and takes us about 3 hours with a couple of bathroom stops.

It is 88 miles from our driveway to site 1307. But John VN is right we drove a little over 4,000 miles last year going to Disney.

We drive a little over 600 miles from B'ham Alabama and it takes us around 11 hours to get there.

Laura, You guys are going to have a fantastic time!! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!:D

according to mapquest...

992.02 miles 16 hours, 7 minutes

The best news is, I have a freelance editing job that comes and goes with big (12 -18mo) unpredictable gaps, and I just got news that a cycle is starting. So, I can actually pay for this upcoming trip. YIPPEEEEEEE :)
