How many Michigan DVC's are there?

Tiggerfreak, you are correct, we are neighbors. Glad to see there are others from the area. I am hoping to get me DW to let us add-on some points. I can you all the help I can get. Any suggestions out there?

Hey, I actually DID resist any more add-ons. I had already bought at BCV before making my resolution to resist buying more points. So far, so good!

But do feel free to hold my feet to the fire! If you see me on the boards talking about another add-on, ask me which lottery I won or which inheritance dropped out of the sky.

Did you buy your BCV add-on on your last trip? Thought I remembered that you were going to do that. If so, congrats!

Todsue99, maybe you should sit down with your DW and start mapping out the next few years of wonderful vacations. With so many nice tempting options to choose from, maybe she will soon come to that fateful conclusion - "Honey, I think we need more points." Good luck!

Member as of this year. 250 SSR points. I drive or fly, depends on who will be going with me to WDW. I prefer to drive. Usually stop somewhere around Perry,Ga. I live in Fenton. Built a house here in 1995. Next extended trip won't be until 12/05, family get together. so far we have 14 adults and 3 babies under 2yrs. Hopefully I can get a quikie trip in before then,i'm having serious withdrawal. Susan

I have lived in Canton for most of my life. My DW has lived all over michigan in cities like St.louis, Alma, Brekenridge, Midland and Taylor.

We got married on 5/2/03 and bought our current house in Northville Michigan.

We visited Disney World for the first time as a married couple last month and joined DVC shortly thereafter. 160pts at SSR and probabbly going to get infected with the Add-on-itis virus in the next few years

We are planning on making our first trip home to DVC next Sept.

CONGRATS PISTONS, on your ability of overcome that dreadfull and usually false, MEDIA HYPE!!!!!

DH and I have been members since April of last year (home is VWL) and have used our points for AKL, VWL and OKW so far.

We hail from Cassopolis, MI, which is southwest MI just north of South Bend, IN. Don't even try to find it on your map - it's a dot. One stop light and the Arby's just closed.

DH and I live out in the boonies and have decorated the bathroom in Disney - starting in on the kitchen now, thanks to a recent sale at TDS...

Even though I currently live in Pennsylvania, I consider Michigan my home. I grew up in Canton, MI. I still say pop. They tease me about that here. Using my points to take my husband on our honeymoon cruise next month. I have been a member since 97. I only have 150 points, but then again I am a teacher. It is all I can afford on a teacher's salary.

Howdy neighbors.
We live in Shelby Twp., just south of the Regency Hills subdivision (24 & Dequindre).
BTW, we ALWAYS fly. Since we joined DVC in 2003, we have been to HHI, VB, and VWL. Long story made short, I and DS6 have flown out of TOL, FNT and SDF (in that order), while DW and DS3.75 have flown out of DTW, FNT and SDF (DW had FF flight on NWA out of DTW).

We live in Canton (near the high schools) and have been members since 1994. We just returned from OKW (in a GV for the first time - those ARE nice!). We used to fly (before children) but have driven down too many times to count. Since the kids are now grown, we did fly down this past trip and I have to say that I didn't miss the 19+ hour drive!

I spent the first 26 years of my life in Canton... 16 years near warrren between Morton Taylor and Lilly and then another 10 near Beck and Warren.

I graduated from Ply-Salem, so I know right where the HS's are!

Hadn't seen this thread until today. We've owned at VWL since 2002. We live in Royal Oak.

By the way, the count is around 45 DVC families from Michigan in this thread. Assuming nearly everyone that has replied is from MI.

I grew up at Ford and Haggerty. Plymouth-Salem class of 91. Can't believe how built up the town is now a days.
