How many magicbands do you own?

So if I had 4 magic bands just for me and I was staying at a resort for 4 days I could use a different band for each day and they would be my room key and my ticket?

As long as you didn't deactivate them...yes. I do it all the time.

Yippee! This is the most successful thread I've ever started. :)

It would be useful is if Disney came up with a way that guests could check the remaining battery charge of their MB's. Maybe some kind of device at the check-in desk.

Which brings me to another real potential: automated check-in kiosks.

If you use the online service, have maps on your phone, and already have your Magicband, then it would seem automated kiosks are not far behind. Surely, your phone could even help you find the location of your room.

I have every color and 2 pinks. It gets a little crazy bringing all of them but I am adding glitter nail polish to some to change the color a bit and making them more "princess like" for DD

They are already starting towards this.

And the first step will be firing of CMs who aren't needed anymore. :(

Actually the kiosks aren't needed either. WDW is testing a system at a few resorts where they will text you your room number when its ready. Yes, I know that part of the system was already in place. This system however doesn't even require a stop at the front desk at all.

Marriott has been using mobile check in for a while. You still have to stop at the desk to get your key and room number. I like the fact that I can see if I have a room upgrade in advance, and they'll hold the room for me (usually we check in late at night). With the magic bands, the key stop would be unnecessary.

I have 1 yellow one for my upcoming resort stay and will be getting at least another one in the future (hoping for this fall).

Anyone notice they just changed mydisneyexperience when you customize your bands they show the ones you already own! We are at 4 each with 1 more on the way in July.
