I LOVE LOVE LOVE planning trips to Disney.... I make about 20 lists per trip, all saying the same thing. What to pack, our reservation times, etc. My DH got so tired of my lists he put in on the computer for me.... but I still make them:lmao:. So how many lists do you make?

I love planning! We're not going until November and I've already started with the lists. Before we go, I print out snack credit locations, options for CS restaurants, menus, daily touring plans, FP strategies, etc. etc. etc. ;) Not that we follow everything to the letter, have to leave room for changes, but every morning while I'm having my coffee in the room (I can't sleep late on vacation, I'm too excited), I go over the daily plan and pack the file card of the day in my backpack. I drive people in my family insane. :rotfl:

THis is hilarious to me!! I LOVE lists. I already have three separate packing lists going and my next trip isn't til August  I sometimes think I must be truly crazy. At least I know I have company.

I am always planning everything. I love to have an idea of what and where and when, all the time. :)
It saves time too. I think I will transfer my current lists (I have 2 or 3) to the PC, so that I can update and cut and paste menus and all, LOL! My hubby doesn't like that I love to plan everything, but is greatful, when he has a question and I already know the answer. :cutie:

That is great my husband has made a daily list of what parks and I had made all the dinner reservations from there he has coordinated what times we should go to each ride and which ones to get fast passes for. He has teased me that we are going to have laminated cards for each day!

I have a packing list for the trip and a packing list for the day we're at the Magic Kingdom. I have a schedule with a prioritized list of what middle daughter wants to do, and a list of what we both want to do sorted by land (Main Street, Adventureland, etc.). I have a list of MK treats we want to try, and one of things at the monorail resorts to check out should we decide to take a mid-day break. I have a list of the "live" events we want to see with what I hope will be their times (most of them are non-posted so who knows...). And I have a "supplies" list, which is stuff I want to buy here before we go, and another list of stuff I want to buy in Orlando before we hit WDW.

Just let your hubby know that there is another crazy lady out there... I actually HAVE laminated cards for everyday!!!!!!:rotfl2: I think I am OVERLY organized...:rotfl:

OMG I love it!!!! That is a great idea to laminate the cards!!!! I might just go there...:lmao:

Umm can one of y'all make a list on where to get a laminate-r? I'd have absolutely NO IDEA how to laminate my lists! Mine are all still on the pc...My date is getting closer T - 11 and counting!! My rides list and things to do keeps changing periodically...I keep plugging different scenarios into the ridemax planner thingamajig...

I'm SOOOO jealous of the poster whose husband helps with the lists... Whenever I start to talk to my DH about the plans for our trip, his eyes just kinda glaze over...he even REFUSED to look at the menus of the restaurants before we get there... MEN!!:sad2:

ummm well let's see :rolleyes1 I am at it all the time! Especially when our trip gets closer I constantly grab a pen and paper and make a brand new list. When I read something on the DIS, I run and jot it down ASAP!

My husband gets really annoyed. Plus before we go to bed I grab my "LISTS" and go over them at night. ;)

Torianne31, you can buy "laminating" sheets at Target or Walmart. It's about the size of a sheet protector, and it's like two pieces of that laminating plastic, and one of them is sticky. So you just press them together and BOOM-instant laminated cards. Have fun on your next trip!!

Good lord, I thought you had to have a machine... :rotfl: Hmm.. wondering if laminating our tickets after signing them would be a good idea. That would keep them from getting all icky after checking into multiple parks (we have hopper tickets) and being brought out for fast passes. Has anyone ever tried this before?

omg.. I am giggling so hard right now... I'm going to Target a little later today to pick up travel size toiletries... gonna get the laminating sheets so I can laminate my itineraries / lists from Ridemax, my lists of restaurants and my list of things I want to do at Downtown Disney.... DH is going to have a duck when he sees that!!! He is DEFINITELY not a list person.. nor an avid planner like me...:rotfl2:

I think I need to go to list makers annonymous.:rotfl2: I make lists for everything. I am in list heaven right now because I have to plan this trip once if my grandson and daughter go or a second if they stay home and my younger daughter takes a friend. LIST LIST LIST:rotfl: I love making them twice.:cool1:

But I will be at WDW July 9 either way:banana::banana::banana:

I have my what to pack list that is broken down into carry on and checked luggage and then what has been packed already, my what to buy before I leave list, my what needs to be done before leaving list, my what to buy while I'm there list, my dining list, my park hours list, and of course my plans for the days lists. So that's nine lists all contained in a Disney notebook written with a Disney pen because Disney plans can't be written any other way!

Moving this to the Disney Tips Board. Some great tips here!

Yep, my wife is starting make lists months before the trip. The good think is that we can use the lists for another trips too :)

Hi my name is Sharron and I have planning obsession problem! I can't wait to plan our trips. It is part of the fun. Well at least for me. I think my dh is so tired of hearing about my planning and thinks it's a little much! But for some reason he really sees how it all pays off once we are packing and in the park! :cheer2: Here is a short list of my lists. :lmao: 1. Packing list is broken down many list of toilteries list, park bag list, food list, carry-on list, and each person gets a clothing list. 2. is our must see list 3. is my garden grocer list 3. things to do list before we leave 4. Shopping list with an envelope of coupons for our pre-trip shopping list! I think that is it for now but I will probably come up with more list to fill my Disney spiral! :rotfl2:

Happy Planning to all!
Sharron

Oooo lists! lol
While I'm planning, I have a million! I end up with one list for each day which has my plan for the park, a list of CS restaurants we like, and important phone numbers, like lost and found, and our resort. I add in some cute Disney clipart, and voila!
I also have a packing list, which I separate into "carry-on" or "checked."
My trip is in May, so I have my park plans finished...just have to print them off, and yes, laminate them, but I haven't started my packing list, yet.

I'm a freak when it comes to everything Disney. Making lists and planning helps me between trips. And they really do ensure we have all we need and dont forget anything. I actually have a Disney binder that use for every trip. Having past trips information can come in handy. Enjoy!

117 days and yes I have started packing.
