How many kids do you have?

Oh, also...for a long time I was bummed out that my kids would be so far apart in age but it is WONDERFUL...DS has been completely in love with DD from the first time he laid eyes on her, and it's mutual! She just gave him a real goodnight kiss for the first time today...so sweet!

Aww thats adorable! I love this "not a baby and not in the terrible 2s yet" stage :rotfl: Me and my sister are 12 years apart (she is 9) and i wouldnt have it any other way either!

We have none for now, although we're hoping to have one by sometime next year.

Just the one !! It took us 10 years to have our little man, I found out I was pregnant on my 40th birthday .

I have 3 Girls and they are close together.

My first two are 10 and 9
I dont know what I was thinking.

Then I waited and had my 3rd
She is 6

I know now that I was ment for girls and I love every moment of being a mother of 3

I was a only child and always bored, But now after watching my 3 fight like cats and dogs. I know why those of you have only 1, We are not all made for big family life and every one knows best what they can handle as far as having 1 or 10. The most important thing I feel in life is to love, and be your self.

We have 5, DS19, DD17, DS16, and DD's 5 and 4. We thought we were done at 3, but decided late in life to have one more that turned into 2. As my freind who has 6 says, chaos is by definition total, so adding more really doesn't make things any worse!

Having a baby with a 13 year old girl in the house is amazingly easy. It's like having a live in nanny. She was in love with the little girls from the moment we brought each home, and they love having a big sister to care for them. My DS16, not so much sometimes.

We figure extensive babysitting duties is the very best form of teenage abstinence training! They love their little sisters, but have no illusions that baby rearing is fun or cool. Someday they'll all make wonderful mothers and fathers, and they'll be far more experienced then most new parents, but not any time soon!

all of my children are surprise miracles!

We will have 3 tomorrow!!!! My DS will be 17 next month and my DD is 15. Much to our surprise late last summer :scared1: we found out we were expecting DD #3. She will be delivered by c-section tomorrow. We thought our family was complete. We are excited though but it is just like starting over.

By the way......pregnancy at 43:sick: wasn't nearly as easy as it was at 28. I told my DH the only test I passed was the pregnancy test. :confused3 There is nothing like dealing with hot flashes and morning (all day) sickness.

Just felt the need to add that we are still waiting for #3. They sent me home yesterday. Her lungs were not ready for her to be born yet. Maybe next friday or the first week in March. What a let down for us but better for her.

So sorry you did not get to meet ur little girl as hoped. Hopefully she will make her grand appearance soon. Best wishes to you and ur family.

Single dad with 1 and a half kids, both 16. DD is mine and I will pay for her college and the half is someone else’s and I will not be paying for her college. They met each other in the 2nd grade and spend more time at my or half’s house together than they do alone at their residences. They pretty much act like twins and can finish each other’s sentences.

It took three years and many tests and procedures to have DD so another one was out. She is enough anyway. To all those dads out there with multiple girls in their family, I pray for your sanity.

Just one right now: DD18months, but we want to start trying for another soon. As soon as I get my cavities filled! :rotfl2: I can't imagine going to the dentist while pregnant. Ugh! So I'll do that as soon as our new dental coverage kicks in next month, then time to make a baby! I'm scared to have another one (DD is soooo high need) but I want lots of kids... well, at least two, anyway, so DD can have a sibling.

DD10 (11 in 5 days!), DD9, and DS7 - 21 months in between each of them.

We are DONE!

Well, we currently have 2 with one on the way. My kids are 17 months apart and I thought we were done. But oops, the 3rd one is on the way. I would not object to a 4th but when they are really close in age, traveling is tough. Boosters, car seats, etc.... Not to mention that we live away from our family so the cost of flying increases etc.... IMy mom said the same thing but is over the moon that I am having my 3rd. She had 6 in her family and I grew up with 3 sisters. Not against big families but at all but it really comes down to what you can handle.

What an interesting thread! Just do what works for you! I enjoy having 3 they are all at different stages in life! I always thought I would have 4 but stoped at 3. No reason why? My MIL was very upset and had alot to say when # 3 came along. I guess because of DD being in a wheelchair. Anyway, I think I have 3 wonderful kids! I LOVE them!!!:lovestruc All the best in what you decide!:)

This has been such a fun thread to read through. My Hubby and I just have one DD who is 6. I'm pretty sure we'll just keep it to just her, but you never know. I had her when I was only 20 and still in college. I felt like an insane person for the first 4 years of her life:crazy2: It was just crazy raising her while DH and I were in college. I have massive respect for those who have even more kids and are still in school. Heck I don't know how people with 3+ kids do it under normal circumstances:laughing: Props to all you great moms and dads!

How wonderful to see allthe different kinds of families!!!

We have 5

DS -16
DS -15 (in 2 weeks)
DS -13

first 3 born in under 3 yrs.

DD - 11
DD - 8 (bonus baby)

We have two beautiful girls adopted from foster care - DD7 and DD2 (3 in April). We don't plan to adopt any more unless we get a call that there is a sibling in foster care.

We have 7 and half. It makes life wonderful, amazing, crazy and exciting. They are 17, 12, 10, 9, 5, 3, 21months and I'm 4 and half months pregnant.
