How many kids do you have?

We have 4. Boy-13, Girl-11, Boy-5, Girl-1. I figured it out the other day and when our oldest is a senior in high school, our youngest will be in kindergarten....

Our oldest will be a senior next year and our youngest will be in K as well! Oh and our middle son will be in Middle School. So one in elementary, one in middle and one in High School.

Next year my 4 kids will be in 4 different schools. One in High School - public school, one in Middle - charter school, one in Elementary - private school, and one in Preschool. 4 different PTAs, 4 different schedules, etc. AGH!

Well you definately have me beat! My two boys are in a private school, and my daughter is in public this year. Next year she will switch over to private. While it kills our pocketbook, I am really looking forward to going back to one vacation/school schedule! But I so remember the days of nursing the newborn at the oldests lacrosse tournaments! That was tough!

My husband would also like a baseball team. We haev two at the moment...DD is almost 4 and DS is 15 months.

Three. My two oldest are bio kids and my 3rd is adopted. I would like to adopt one more (and get a girl!) but I don't know if we will. I feel like we are getting too old!

We have 4 and honestly it's A LOT of work and VERY expensive! I love all 4 of my kids but sometimes I envy families w/only 2 kids!

It certainly seems easier, at least from a logistics point of view, like getting them all to activities and booking vacations, etc....

We have 5. Still contemplating about 6. I love it
cannot imagine my life without my precious kiddos. It's not easy
but alot of things in life are not easy nor convient.

Mom of 13. That is totally fantastic!!!

It took my mother a very long time to adjust to the idea of me having 3 (good thing i told her that was the plan shortly after the 2nd was born). As far as a 4th, she makes a lot of negative comments - so I don't plan on telling her that until she figures it out on her own, which could be awhile since she lives in a different state.

LOL!! :rotfl: This is so me!! I hope we can have a 4th, and soon, but boy I wish my MIL lived out of state because we don't plan on telling her (she's a nasty women, who my SIL took after and perfected the role). :rolleyes1

We have 3 girls, they are 15, 10 and 8.

We planned on having 2, we thought time and mon ey wise it was all we could swing. While waiting for surgery, guess what??? I am so happy to have our little surprise, we can't imagine our family without her, and though we were right, money and times is stretched out thinner, we make it work.

He had his vacetomy when I was pregnant with her, so we are done and I am glad for that. Our family is very complete.

We always get asked if we were trying for a boy. Nope, we weren't trying at all and we always just hoped for healthy and happy and that's what we got.

I have 4. My oldest and youngest have particularly difficult temperaments. I thought going from 2-3 was the hardest. By the time #4 arrived we were already certifiable and he fit in to the chaos nicely:rotfl:

I do have to say it does NOT get easier as they get older....it's just different. I remember when mine were really small sometimes the only thing that got me through the day was remembering that they would eventually grow up some day:lmao: I figured by the time everyone was sleeping through the night and potty trained we'd have it made:rolleyes: I must have been delusional:rotfl: and everything they need gets bigger and more expensive. It's like having a couple more adults to support financially as they get closer to the teen/adult years.

I love my kids to pieces but 4 is (more than) enough!

I can identify with this...boy can they eat and my oldest is a girl but she does every sport there is and is rail thin but can chow down with the best of them. We have 3...DD14, DD11 & DS9....I'm one of 5 and my mom kept telling us to have 4 because 3 is an odd number and someone is always left out. We thought about it but DS was such a handful and so very active no way did I want to take a chance on having another boy. I was getting too old to do all that running around again.

We have two and we definitely won't be having any more!!
DS 20, DD 19 - no we definitely won't be having any more :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I have 2 boys (ages 8 and 5) and 2 girls (almost 3 and 18 months).

Just like I planned :lmao:

Actually, I was raised in a family of 8 kids and my husband is from a family of 2 kids, so having 4 feels just right for me, not too many, not too few.

11 - I had 4 from my first marriage and I married DH who had 6. Three years ago we adopted our youngest when we were 48 and 58. She keeps us on our toes.

All our kids
DS 28, DD 28, DD 26, DD 26, DS 24, DS 24, DD 23, DS 22, DS 18, DS 16 and DD 3.

I have 14 month old identical twin boys and would love to have a set of girls next!:cloud9: But those chances are slim lol

and for those who have counted husbands as one of your children, i am right there with you on that one! ;)

Two...DS is 7 and DD is 16 months. I'm on the fence about a third...I have great pregnancies but lousy deliveries, and I'm not getting any younger. If anything I would love to adopt, down the line. But there are certainly times I feel DONE and very blessed! :lovestruc

Oh, also...for a long time I was bummed out that my kids would be so far apart in age but it is WONDERFUL...DS has been completely in love with DD from the first time he laid eyes on her, and it's mutual! She just gave him a real goodnight kiss for the first time today...so sweet!
