How many in a room?

Does anyone know how many people can sleep in a standard room at Newport Bay? Would we be able to sleep 5 in it? We have been having trouble finding out the allowed amount of people by Disney. Thanks

For many reasons, I wouldn't recommend this.

There are family rooms at the Newport Bay that sleep 6, otherwise there's Davy Crockett Ranch (but you'll need to hire a car for this) or the Explorers (off-site but has free shuttle bus) can sleep up to 10.

Just noticed in one of the brochures i recently picked up-thomas cook i think that they state the Holiday Inn kids suite rooms have room for an additional childs bed as well as double and bunks -this would have to be confirmed but i`m sure i`ve never heard of this before -if its true then that gives us family of 5`s another choice!!

We couldn't get this on-line and when we phoned were told that the Kid-suite room only slept 4 Double bed and curtained off area with kids bunk beds. They offered to allow a mattress on the floor. It wasn't as good an offer as we first thought though. If we split into 2 rooms it was cheaper than the kid's suite with mattress. I think they were taking the

Thanks -knew it wouldn`t be as good as it sounded as its never been mentioned before when the room sleeping 5 question appears -thank good ness for good old DCR!!!

Would you risk getting kicked out of your room?

You also can get problems with your insurances and in case off a fire ore other problems no one will look for a fifth guest .

We haev thought about sneaking in a 5th person at the Santa Fe. Before we could try it, my brother and his girlfriend had broken up, so we didn't have a group of 5 anymore to go.

However, it's something we have done at other hotels before. I know I know, I am so bad and will go straight to hell.

Will you be there by car? There are some nice B&Bs that offer family rooms!

I know people who have "sneaked" extra people in hotel rooms but that was only for ones in the UK.

Thanks for the help. Looks like I won't need the extra space as 2 people have dropped out so it will only be 3. Besides I will probably be haunted if I snuck in extra people
