How Many In a Cabana at DC?

Hi,

Search is not working for me and wanted some guidance. We are group of 9 and are interested in the cabanas at Discovery Cove. My edlerly Mom will be with us so it is mostly for her. Four of our party are young adults/teenagers and I suspect will be out and about for most of the day.

Will I have to purchase a second cabana for our group? If so, do they have them where they are close together?

Private cabanas are available for rental at an additional fee and are tucked within the lush landscaping. Complete with table and chairs, chaise lounges, and rolled towels, the cabanas provide a special place for up to 6 guests to relax when not in the water exploring. Space is limited. 6 pp, and that includes infants. We have a party of 8 and we will have to get 2 if we want one. I was informed today that if my party is all under the same name they will not allow me to have one even though only half the party will be using it.

Last year we had the same group and they did not enforce that but this year they are.

we went ahead and they let us book one with the premeium package and 1 at the normal cabana rate, at leas they are not making me wait until 3 weeks out to do it. My parents want to use it, and then I like to have a place to let DD 2 run around with a somewhat enclosed area while we can sit and talk. Last year the front area that was enclosed in was great to let her play in the sand and stuff while we relaxed.
