How many green wreaths did you get this morning?

While I am happy that so many people were gifted I am a little sad (maybe jealous) that neither BlueSpaceboy or I got anything other than what we sent to each other.

I was trying to be careful with the upper/lower case issue, but I'm sure I probably messed up one or two, but hopefully not. (I haven't checked my gift givers yet to see if they have more than they should)

Most of the wreaths I spent out were from my mule accounts. I kept a very careful record of each one I sent, which account, who to, and the cost. I'm rather obessive about things like that. Yesterday and today I was checking those old accounts to see about sell the rooms back to VMK that came on those accounts only to discover that several of them have negative balances. After some figureing I found that when I sent out one gift on that account they charged me for 2, or if I sent 2 they charged me for 4.

I'm not a happy camper.

And there is no way for me to know if the people got double wreaths from me, because they have no way of knowing who sent them wreaths.

I was checking my balances to see if I could figure out if all my wreaths were delivered so I did a credit run with each mule while I was signed on. Well, one mule started out with a balance of 0 credits and after the credit run it had a balance of -2200 (or so) credits. At this point I'm really glad I didn't send any gifts from qruthie!

I also kept track of which accounts I sent the wreaths from and who received wreaths from that account. I am 99.999999% certain that each account had enough credits. The only thing the messed up accounts had in common is they were "guest" accounts when the wreaths were delivered. The accounts that had real names before the wreaths were delivered didn't have this problem. All of the accounts had guest names when I sent in the gift requests.

Have any of you had any luck with contacting VMK about this? I'm not sure if I should report it or just let it drop.

Wow! I thought I was going crazy. One of my mule accounts had 1,200 credits in it and I sent 2 gifts from that account so obviously I should have 200 credits now in that account. Imagine my surprise to see a -2,000 credits. What is up with that? I also thought the gift would not be sent if not enough credits were in the account. I don't think this is right at all. I also think the person getting the gift should know who sent it. There is really know way to follow up to make sure if the ppl you sent gifts to really got them. Such a bummer...

Anywho.......... of the credit I lost in those accounts from the now negative balances it wasn't that much. I'm grateful I didn't use my main account anyway.

I got one wreath from Shamroxxx. I was so excited!!!! Unfortunately, I could not send him one in return as I never have a large amount of credits. I'm still working on getting my Mickey Christmas tree before it disappears.

I sent two wreathes one to each of my two kids that play VMK from my main account- which lost an extra 1000 credits on top of what was supposed to be removed.

My mule that I sent my other gifts with... I sent out gifts to 13 people which should have been 6500 credits removed from my account. I had 8,770 credits on that account on 12/23/05. On 12/24/05 I woke up and because Darth Jordan said he was in the negative on his account because of the gifts and sure that he didn't over spend and had enough credits- I decided to log her on and check- and my mule was carrying only 770 credits she should have had 2270 credits left on her...

So they took an extra two thousand off my mule that was being used for the soul purpose of gifts for Christmas (before they even announced this program) and an extra 1000 off my main character. I had a few random characters with 500+ credits and thought about sending more to myself but didn't worry about it- glad I didn't they'd all be in the negative- something I didn't think would happen.

I guess I should send a complaint in... but not sure if anything will come of it.

DH had gifted me a wreath, but I didn't get it b/c 2 days before they gave out the wreaths, my name was changed... therefore no green wreath for me. so sad...

I also awoke on Christmas Eve morn to a negative balance on one of my mule gift givers! I knew exactly how many credits I had in there the night before, because I purposely checked it to make sure I had enough (and I did, with some to spare).

I guess they failed to mention the "VMK overnight delivery surcharge" that was added to the total for each gift! LOL

Anyway, thanks to everyone who gifted me with a wreath! I know who most of them came from, but still have a few left that were given anonymously... (or as we say in the game - a nah no mouse lie)
