Hello fellow PAers! Being new to PA and the suburbs of Pittsburgh, I need some advice. Can any of you suggest places to go for a 4 - 5 day getaway within driving distance...kid friendly and relaxing at the same time?

I was thinking Cedar Point...park for a couple days and maybe sitting by the pool for a couple days but I would love to hear of other options.

Thank you!

Hey Fellow PA DVCers!

Good News! My dad just got word he got the job he was dreaming of in Allentown and my parents are going to relocate up here from Virginia!! :cool1:

Couple of ideas - Lancaster - Dutch Wonderland is out there - it is a smaller theme park (younger kids) and Hershey park is not far. We love Lancaster for the food and the shopping, mainly we like to relax in the hotel and swim!!!!

Erie - the lake is beautiful and a nice beach (for not being in FL!!!) They also have an indoor water park that is pretty cool!!!

Wooh 12 pages.

As my location states 5 miles from pocono raceway, yes it will be noisy tomorrow.
