How many DVC trips do you average in a use year?

Out of curiousity...

We will have four this use year - VWL, OKW (just hubby & his Dad)BWV & BCV. We had some banked points due to an add on.

Next use year will hopefully be VWL, SSR, VB & HH. We will have to borrow points for HH so the year after that will probably only be two trips.

I estimated and voted for three a use year.

I think with us buying an AP every other year and maxing it this will end up what we average.

Although it has been two in the past, our new master plan calls for three. Two are full blown vacations, while one will be a long weekend getaway.

We will do two in a normal year

In 2003, we had two dvc trips + one cash trip to WL
In 2004, we have had 4 trips with one more to go for 5

We voted for 2 since that would be "normal"

This year we'll have 9 separate check-in's. Next year will be about 3 check-in's. So I guess on average, (since retiring), it's in the 4 to 5 per year.

The problem with giving a correct answer is that in the year we have our annual passes we go about three times. Then we usually skip part of a year and do it all over again. I voted 3 anyway for this year.

Ours aren't long trips, but 4 this year, our first year as members. One will be a 3 night cruise and a 1 night stay at VWL!

Three DVC (two week long and one a bit shorter) and one not (generally a conference at DI or a special AP code trip).

We are usually 2. Sometimes we'll also give points to my in-laws for a getaway to Vero during the time too.

Well, we live to far away to make "long weekends" practical. So we usually do 2 trips at 9 to 10 nights each. Although this year, I have over 100 "extra" points to bank, so we may look at another trip or simply "upgrade" both of next years trips to a one-bedroom instead of alternating studio/one bedroom every other trip.

We will do 2 this year and none next year. (Going on cruise in '05.) So, I guess we average out to 1 per year.

In addition to our Disney vacations, we also try someplace new each year. This year it's Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon (in July, between HHI and BWV).

I feel so blessed to be able to vacation like this. I have to admit it's the one area of our lives where we do splurge.

Most likely 2 a year in the future. I would love to do 3, one in the Summer, Fall and Spring but we would need more time off.

My DF recently announced her wedding.......to take place in Orlando so Dh and I will stay at SSR this October. I really like having a place to "get away".
