How many DVC members primarily hang out on DVC boards??

I don't think it would be appropriate (and don't think the mods would like it) for me to post links to other DVC forums. They can be found via google and other search engines. Or just google "DVC Mike".

Yup, I see you everywhere! Nice of you to spread the DVC knowledge.

For a long time I would hang out on the various singles threads, and met some very charming women. But since finding my princess: here in CT, I have rarely visited those threads. Since then I have been a Dis'er without a "home" until now. I have been spending time reading the various posts on the DVC board and over on the photography board.

PLease ignore the below comments.... that's what I get for going straight to the last page instead of starting from my last post to catch up!!!! Nothing to see here - move along..... How do you get rid of posts.... anyone????? :)

Now Mike,
If you turn that phrase from "forums" to "DISBoards" like the rest of us have done, surely you can say! :thumbsup2 Surely, you don't just visit this portion of the site! :surfweb:

I mainly bounce between the DVC boards and the Cruise boards... I started out on the DVC boards but have probably spent most of time the past year over on the cruise boards.:rolleyes1

Anal Annie I luv your name! We love to cruise! We have cruised Disney once for a week on the Magic, but I didn't know about these boards then. I am a cruise board hound when planning a trip. I am not sure if I can name the other board here , but it is a very popular cruise board! I have found it to be an amazing resource!

Wow! I didn't mean to start miscommunication or any dissent. I'll have to think better before asking questions on the boards.

Now back on topic, I'm probably on these boards about 3 or 4 times each day. Being a new member, i've learned a lot and continue to be amazed with the wealth of information these boards contain!

I spent a lot of time on the DVC boards until we bought into AKV. Now I'm back to the other boards, as we plan upcoming trips. :)

:rotfl2: I catch some flack for that name sometimes! I'm glad you "get it"!:rolleyes1

The cruise boards here on the DIS are great...pop over there when you are planning again - you can probably find a cruise meet thread for your cruise dates so you can hook up with others on your cruise! We went on the Magic once and just this summer did back-to-backs on the Wonder (did the 4 n. on points & the 3 n. on cash in the same cabin). I hooked up with an awesome bunch of people on our meet thread...11 families total...it was a great time! We re-booked on board for the discount but will push the date out further once future itineraries are announced. I don't think we'll be able to go again on points with the way they keep raising the charts. But am glad we were able to go once that way!

I think they are pretty open minded about that stuff. Some people have direct links to other forums in their signatures so I am sure it isn't a problem at all:thumbsup2

We hung out here lots while looking to buy but are elsewhere now planning trips. I come back to read threads if I need answers to questions but rarely post in the forum anymore.

I pretty much read these DVC Boards on the DIS. But also visit the Restaurant boards and the Budget board. Occasionally I will go over to the Community board to see what is there.

I will also frequent a couple of other forums for DVC information, plus one other forum for general timeshare information since I own more than just DVC.

I got to thinking about that the other day......

I know I spend A LOT OF TIME ON THE DVC BOARDS vs. the other Dis Boards. I do visit a few others occasionally but not often ever since becoming a DVC member. Just curious :goodvibes
::yes:: :wave:
Me too.

Wow - I am surprised at how many people primarily visit the DVC portion of the Disboards. I primarily visit the thempark, restaurant, and resort boards. I visit these boards on a daily basis. I read the trip reports board every weekend and manage to get to the DVC boards every other week or so.

Now that I bought into DVC I am mainly on the DVC boards and pop back through the trip reports and theme parks boards.

I visit the DVC boards daily, the TPAS board to be helpful to newbies, Restaurant when planning F & W, Cruise when planning a DCL trip (otherwise cruisecritic) Orlando and Other Attractions because we also stay off site, Universal when planning a trip there, Disneyland if we're going to CA. I also like to read the Transportation board and to reassure folks about SWA, when appropriate. My goal is to be helpful to others.

I check the DVC boards out most everyday. I only sometime venture out to the others... :thumbsup2

Other Boards ?!
You're allowed to visit other boards?

I got too scared when I heard pirate: "Walk the plank" pirate:

I'm a fairly new "DISser" (is that what it's called?) and found this board because I booked an Adventures By Disney tour and googled it. I didn't realize the can of worms I was opening! Wow - I am addicted to this. We are huge Disney people - live in Orlando, cruised ten times, recent DVC owners, and now an ABD. I think most of my time is on Adventures By Disney, but I'm branching out!! I try to find questions I can answer on many boards.

EDK35,
I'm new to this board and do not have enough posts yet to be able to respond to any PM's. Tugg's is a board that is for timeshare users and owners. It has a wealth of information from very knowledgeable timeshare owners. Here is a link. Check out the Timeshare Resort Systems section. They have a number timeshare company boards and Disney is one of them.
Just put in tugbbs in a search engine and it will take you there.
Ray
