How Many Disney Scrapbooks

At DLR last month, I saw 3-4 different ones. I have one from WDW and one from DLR that are similar. "Leather" with an emblem with the respective castle on front, 3-ring binder.

I have 2 for the first trip completed and one ABC book. Not really inspiring for something different huh?

I like the ABC one though because I can add pages of random pics to it.

I've only done one so far, but I've thought about how to make the next one different. We are staying at different hotels this year than we did last year, so at least the resort pages will be different:). We have ADRs at "new to us" restaurants, including the Crystal Palace, so that's even a whole 'nother set of character autographs and photos. After putting together last year's album, there are a TON of photos I wish I'd gotten that I'll be sure to get this time (mostly things like attraction and restaurant signs, stuff like that).

I'm not going to get autographs from characters I already have, so that will be a difference, too. The kids can get them from anyone they want, but I'm only going to get them from characters I don't have yet.

I have 3 complete and 3 more to do.....The first 3 all look similiar, and I don't expect the next 3 to be too different. I did make some pages that I love to finish up the 3rd album. I did character pages-like Donald Duck-picts of DD with Donald, Donald in each parade, Donald topiaries, Donald fishing in AK, Philharmagic ( I think it should be Donald's lol). Aladdin and Genie-picts of Magic Carpet Ride, Genie in Morocco, Aladdin in MGM, etc. It used a lot of the extra shots and was different than the day by day scrapping I usually do.
Have fun! Vicki

I only have one that is totally and completely finished. I did an ABC book a few years ago and actually completed pages for A-Z! That was my second trip. My first trip is a long way from being finished. I'm still not finished with my third trip, but I've already filled 2 albums for that trip. And I've been four more times since then. The album itself is different for each trip. One is just a Sandylion Mickey Mouse red and yellow bought it at Hobby Lobby book. The ABC album is one I bought from WDW. It's black flocked velvety with fireworks on the front. The flocking isn't holding up too well so I wouldn't recommend that kind. The 2-album set is the brown leather with the metal castle insert from WDW. Brought one of those home, filled it very quickly and called WDW merchandising to send me another one! I've started the album for my trip last October. It's another one I bought while I was there. Red vinyl sparkly with mickey mouse, etc. Had some pre-made pages in it. Haven't actually used any of those yet, though. For my trip in February, I bought a pink princess album from the WalMart clearance aisle. Haven't started that one.
Other than the ABC book, I haven't really tried to make them particularly different, but they are. My scrapbooking style is constantly evolving. As the scrapbook stores are stocking more and more disney stuff, I manage to make the pages for the third set of (very similar) pictures taken on Dumbo (or whatever ride) look different from the first and second.
I just love scrapbooking my Disney trips!!!! Wish I had more time to do it!

Right now I have three; one 7 x 7 CM album done with their Disney pack, the other two are the CM Disney 12 x 12. I have two more in the completion stages. Those will be the 12 x 12 too.

I have one underway and will start another after our next trip. My current album is my first and I've gotten a ton of new supplies since I started. My plan was to do this one on the cheap and gradually add to my stash. Well now I have all this cool stuff, including a Cricut, but refuse to use most of it on this album. I think it would disrupt the flow and feel. So the next one should be completely different. For example, the current one has lots of stuff that I painted by hand and cut out or hand draw letters that were measure with a ruler. The next one will be mainly done with my Cricut!

I think the fact that they're always coming out with (expensive) new Disney scrapbook materials helps create something at least a little different every time. My family's been...a lot of times and I've been taking pictures and putting them in albums since I was 5, so even my first Disney trip is preserved. Lately (as in the last few trips) they have looked a little similar because I've been catching up and so there's not much time difference in creating the pages, so I end up creating a lot of the same looks accidentally. Maybe keeping some of the embellishments for the next trip, or finding new fun ribbons or other things will help keep it fresh for you. GL!
Edited to add: Nice layouts T-Roy!

Thanks for all your responses.....I think my next album will be an ABC album. Did anyone have a difficult time fitting in all the pictures that they wanted to put in???? I'm just thinking that some letters have alot of possibilities and I may end up in trouble at the end!:confused3

I made a list of possible pics I could take for each letter before I went on our vacation-especially the tough ones like Q, V, X, etc. so I wouldn't have any blank pages. After I printed the pics, I sorted them in envelopes to get an idea of how many pics per page. My book ended up with a 2-page spread for most letters with the exception of O & P, Q & R, X, Y, & Z (I think). I put anywhere between 3 and 6 pics per page (6-12 for 2-page layout) along with a little journaling, label/titles for various pictures for each letter. My groupings were pretty random. For example, "A" covered airplanes, Amy (DD), Adventureland, Aladdin's flying carpets, autographs, and probably some other stuff I can't remember right now. For each letter, I made a title block with a big Disney lettter like A and then added "is for..." in little letters.
Sorry. I know this is WAY more information than you asked for. Bottom line is..... I got lots of pics on my pages for each letter!

I have one (WDW) completed and it's just a general green album. Our DL book is an album I bought in DL when we were out there and has TinkerBell on the cover. I've acquired a couple more albums for other trips I haven't had time to scrap yet and they're all different but still Disney.

I have two completed albums and am working on my third. The first is the brown leather album I bought at WDW. I love this album and wish I had bought two. The second album is a Sandylion one with a cut out of the characters on the front. My third album is a mickey one. For my next trip I am planning an ABC album--maybe just 8 x 8. My pages are all different. For some layouts I did something more elaborate and on other I kept it simple. Soemtimes it depended on finding a really neat embellishment I wanted to use! LOL

I have four complete albums. One from my 06 vacation and three from my 07 vacation. I try to find different embelishments and things to decorate the pages with. Plus every shot that I take each year is differnet so it helps to make each album different. I can't wait for our trip in May to start working on my next ones!!!

I am working on my 5th. I have so many plans for other albums, but scrapping Disney vacations is what inspires me the most. After the first couple, I realized that the layouts could start to look repetitive, so I keep that in mind when taking pictures and focus my picture taking on different things. The album I'm working on now was our first springtime trip, so it has a springtime theme. Another one was a Christmas trip, one is a Halloween, so that can give them a different look. Then I've done things like - eating around the world, gardens of the world, etc. And of course there are always new scrapbooking supplies for inspiration and a different look. I think I'm going to do a vintage/shabby chic take on my next album. There's always something new to do!

i dont have any disney scrapbooks yet but i did see a cute princess one last night at target for $12.99 i didnt have time to really check it out as i was there to fill a prescription but i might go back this weekend and get it.

I have 11 Disney albums--1 each from most of our trips, and then 2 albums each from our Sept. 2006 trip (my 30th birthday) and our Sept. 2007 trip (where we took my parents). I have at least 2 more left to do--1 from Oct. 2005, and 1 or 2 from the trip we just finished last week. We have certain pics that we take EVERY time, but as others have said, the new embellishments or time of year themes change everything up a bit. Also, I am addicted to our swaps here, so I always have different stuff to use! Our next trip will probably be the first one with our little boy (due in August), so I know that will be at least 1 (probably 2) HUGE albums!

I've used albums that I found at WDW (both 3-ring and post-bound), albums I bought at JoAnn's or Target that are Disney, and also the CM Disney album. The CM Disney album is probably my favorite, but then I get to JoAnn's or somewhere, and I can't resist the allure of the bright colored ones with characters on them!

I have completed 9 Disney albums, and they all look different (to me anyway!) They are different sizes, and some are fatter than others. Sometimes I am tempted to repeat a lay-out I really liked, but I usually have a different number of pictures even of the same thing. As other posters have said, I keep getting more supplies to use, which keeps each album different. My favorite is one where I didn't have many photos, so I printed them all really big!
