but I live here for at least a couple more years, in Harrogate, about an hour from York.

Another one from the UK. I live in Surrey (immediately south of London). A true "Home Counties" girl, brought up in Hertfordshire, spent three years in Oxford (not as a university student) and now live in leafy Surrey since getting married in 1987.

I don't know if I count,, I live in Dorset, but am American who grew up in Florida and Texas. Been here nearly 5 years now, and it's really become home to me. Family back home tell me I have become more British than American. I still say ya'll tho
