How many "developer's pts" do you get at SSR?

Does anyone know how many developer's points you are offered if you add on at SSR?

Do you receive different amounts based on how many you buy?

My guide is out of the office until the 12th so I can't get this information from him.

Developer points are the unsold points( or points owned by DVD). They are either unsold inventory or points held back by DVD to sell thru WDW reservations or allow for maintenance.
They will not 'give' you any points, but will be glad to sell you some points.

I'm talking about the developer points incentive that is related to the SSR sales.

You receive a certain number of pts to use before SSR opens if you buy pts at SSR.



Does anyone know the numbers?

These are the points you are purchasing. They are not in addition to your purchase. It seems to be a term some of the Guides are using for new points.
It may be used since the Resort is not complete and these are a pre-sale offer.

I have read on another post that there was an incentive of up to 100 points ( or the $10PP Magical Beginings) to use at another DVC Resort with a time limit. This may be what you are referring.

I am referring to the pre-sale offers which, from what I have read, consist of either taking the $10 credit or the "free pts" offer which I thought they had called "developer pts".

The pts they are offering that have to be used by 1/31/04 are a one time allotment and not part of the SSR contract because SSR hasn't opened yet and your contract couldn't start right now.

Does anyone know how many "free" pts they are offering when you purchase an add on at SSR?

Hi,
The above poster is correct. The offer is either $10 per point reduction in price or 100 vacation points to be used by December or January (not quite sure about the date). I believe it's a minimum of 150 points to receive this offer.

Thanks. I've only been ablt to read a little about SSR and will have to get all of the specifics from our guide on the 12th.

I thought I read in another thread that you have to use these pts by 1/31/04.

I know we won't be back to WDW until after that date so we will probably use the $10 credit if we add on at SSR.

I also read that you can use the $10 credit for 100 pts or more.
