How many DCL have u been on?

Those 2 still count!!! You cruised!!!

MJ

Perhaps, but they sure don't show up on my castaway club account! And, I'm not sure how relaxing they were either. Whenever doing something like this, and we did them for the land based resorts also, you were always given a long list of tasks to complete in order to make sure that the CMs were ready to go when the real guests showed up. And, I was not fortunate enough to get the Castaway Cay test cruise! There was also a 40 to 50 page document to complete when we were done. But it did create a nice variety from the regular working day.

What's WDTC?

We are in NY but only 3 of our cruises were from there (when the Magic was in NYC in 2012). Had to pay airfare for all the others!! Yes, many staff remember us and vice versa!!! When I go on DCL I truly feel like I am coming home!!

Leaving from NYC is so cool. We did that a couple of years ago....

I know....I was on one of the pre inaugural Dream cruises (Boys and Girls Club cruise) and that one does not show up on my cruise list either.

I've got #8 coming next month. But it's really only 7th that counts towards castaway since one was the Disney Dream Boys and Girls Club Cruise. We will book another onboard next month (hoping for Dec 2015) then another one possibly next year or early 2017 for sure!!

Wow! That's great! Which is your favourite?

I really loved cruising Greece last summer! But my favorite was the Panama Canal in Dec 2012. We had perfect weather and it was so relaxing. LOVE the two week cruises!!

38 Completed with DCL (never took the time to count the other cruise lines). # 39 in September and 40, 41 & 42 booked for next year!

Who holds the record? Just curious:) I'm going on my 2nd one next month.

We are going on our 6th DC in September. :)
Our first was a 7 day in November,2013 (Costa Maya, Cozumel and Caymans) and then we took a 4 day in June 2014 ( Bahamas), a 7 day in September 2014 (Cozumel, Caymans and Jamaica) and a 3 day (quickie cruise to Bahamas) in December 2014.
Our most recent was the 7 day to St. Maarten and Puerto Rico in late April of this year. Our September is a 7 day cruise where we will go back to Jamaica!

So far we have really enjoyed excursions to the ruins in Costa Maya, Playa Mia in Cozumel (my husband likes the leather shop there), Good Hope Estate in Jamaica, the Old and New San Juan tour in Puerto Rico, the turtle farm in Caymans, the Two flags tour in St Maarten and Atlantis beach day in the Bahamas. This time we are going to Green Grotto in Jamaica and look forward to that.
At Castaway Cay, we like the Stingray adventure, the floats and bike rentals as well as snorkeling and those hammocks :)

I homeschool my 2 kids so, we tend to go on educational /fun excursions more frequently than not. :) They do not, however, bring school work or books as I know this would be a futile attempt and just add more weight to our luggage. lol

I forgot to add that when I was single I was on the Magic in 1998 to the Bahamas with a co worker.
And a Carnival Senstation cruise that I took the kids and my Mom on in 2012
I became a travel agent earlier this year and would like to try some other lines, although my husband and kids are not that excited about that.

It is hard to try other lines when you have experienced the best! :) I am keeping an open mind though.

I also did the Disney Fantasy (Cozumel, Caymen, Jamaica) cruise.

I been cruising with DCL since 2001. Just did #41 in June on the Dream. #42 is this fall, with #43 Alaska in 2016 and #44 in spring of 2017 (grandson graduates kindergarten). I'm sure there will be a few cruises in-between the scheduled ones. Yes, I live in Florida, so I hop on every chance I get. pixiedust:

Yeah some people have gone on sooo many! I'm just a little nooblet! I'm about to go on my fourth! But my mom is a gold member and my Aunt....like Super Platinum, ha ha! She usually goes on 1-2 maybe even 3 a year! I'm only 27 so I'm hoping when I'm an old lady that I'll need to make a wrestlers belt to show my DCL count! ;D
