I haven't been to DL since I was about one year old. My parents and I are planning to spend a few days after our 2-week DCL cruise from FL to CA next May. We'll typically spend a week at WDW. How many days would you recommend we spend at DL? We don't necessarily need to do every little thing, but we'd like to be able to experience everything the park has to offer without being majorly rushed. Suggestions?

I would suggest at least 3 days. One for DCA and two for DL. May usually isn't too bad crowd wise, but I think next year will be crazy.

Ill agree with the 3-4 days- I dont know the cruise dates but next year you'll have the kickoff (early may) which prob will bring people out (disney freaks mostly) then you'll have normal attendance increase at the end (school out) of the month-

DL has alot of little things that are very kewl like Lincoln and the Gallery that are worth seeing :)

I believe the ship returns on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend in May 2005. It will be very busy at the parks Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

I would normally say about 3 days, but if you really want a leisurely visit, then I would add another day, and go back to your hotel to relax during the high crowd peak.

Yeah, we pull into LA on Sat, May 28. I know it'll be crazy that weekend, but since we live on the east coast, it'll be the best opportunity for us. Thanks for all the replies.

One other question if anyone's still reading this thread - does DL/DCA employ the FastPass system like WDW?
