First time to UO in 9 years...alot has changed and we are big Harry Potter Fans. With that said, we are going April 23-27 (arriving late afternoon the 23rd so that day doesn't count but leaving later the 27th so that is a good day until about 3 in the parks. We are staying at the HRH so we will get the FOTL so I don't anticipate heavy line waiting- I am also hoping lower crowds? Anybody know? :ssst:

So my question is how many days do you really need for the parks? My 13 yr old DD wants to see Sea World before the big changes come - but I am not sure if we will have time. I bought the 4 day park to park passes to give us the flexibility if we get in early Sat. and go in the evening? Then maybe one day will be Sea world?

Opinions? Kids ages-20, 16,13. We are disney crazy so they can do a crazy park day and survive with little complaints.

With EP you'll be fine with what days you have.

Can't help you on crowd levels, I don't pay attention to them, but someone will come along with predictions.

Most people say you can do the parks in 2-3 days, so you'll be ok for SW if you still want to go.

Personally I'd concentrate on Universal unless she is desperate for sw. If you are big harry potter fans taking time to appreciate all the details and go in all the little shops takes time. If she wants to do the spells with an interactive wand (bit like sorcerers of magic kingdom) that also takes time but is a lot of fun.

You will also want to spend some time at the hotel and pool. Bet your kids are excited to stay at HRH. It is so easy to come and go between parks and back to the hotel.

Check the UO website to see if the grad adventure dates will be during your vacation time
I would have to bring up last years thread about it to see the dates which I can't do very well on the cell I am using now

You might want to plan on UO for your entire trip if you take a pass on arrival day for the parks
Never know if your flight is delayed

The 4 days should be enough but in late April the schedule is weird with Universal closing at 5:00/6:00 some days due to Grad week and other events which may cut the day short. I was there the last week of April (April 27th- May 4th) and the crowds were manageable weekdays and moderately crowded on the weekends. Of course HP areas got pretty crowded by around 11:00 so do EE will be a great benefit. I equate the EE in HP like getting to the mall before opening. Music is playing, you can walk around with a cup of coffee few people strolling around. Then 11:00 starts to look like the mall at Christmas for the lunchtime rush. Hope that helps.
