How many days will I need at Disneyland?

My sister and I are considering going to Disneyland. But we are unsure how many days we should go for. We have never been before. If we go down for a week, will we only need 3 or 4 days?

We never go less than 3 days otherwise I think we would feel rushed.

I would suggest staying a month.

But barring that I would do 4 but it's whatever you are comfortable with. ;)

More is better! We always stay a little longer so we aren't rushed. We have 9 days in Anaheim and we have 6 day park hoppers so that if we want to rest for a day we can...good idea for rests...Disneyland can be overwhelming. Lots to see and do and especially when it is your first time you just want to GO GO GO!

Have a great time! We always do!

4 is always a great place to start. We have found 4 days to be perfect for getting everything done that we want.
Have FUN!

Most people are locals and just go for a day. For real trips. 3-5. 3 can be too little, 5 can be more than enough. It really depends on the crowds and days of the week.

If you want to get all the shows in extra days help since F! and Fireworks are not always shown during the weekday.

We stayed 2 weeks and did 9 in the parks and we still could have done more - but it was our first trip and maybe we are not typical - we are going for a week in April and spending another 6 days in the parks.

We are doing 4 days. 2 in each park.

Don't limit yourself to 1 park each day.....the parks are extremely close to each other (like the length of a football field really) so plan to hop back and forth. :) Trust me, you'll love it.

OP I would say 4 days minimum but that's because we like to do more of the random stuff, shows, eating, parades, fireworks, etc etc. We don't just do the rides, we do it all. So for us 4 days is better then 3. :)

I'd say for myself, that 3 days seems rushed to me, 4 you get to hang back a bit more and go at a more relaxed pace, and 5 days is for going on the rides you want to do just one more time before leaving the Happiest Place on Earth.

Three is doable but four just feels right. In all seriousness the more the better for so many reasons. It is so nice to take it at a leisurely pace and this is coming from a disney park commando.

Can I suggest as long as humanly possible. A month would be nice, 2 would be better. Can I live there without ever leaving?

I'm off for two weeks too next week. 9 or 10 days park days.

Last time I did 12. And they still had to peel my hands from the fence because I didn't want to go. ;)

It depends on crowd level, time of year, number and age of those in your party. If you have little ones, chances are you are going to be moving slowly and therefore need more time to tour the parks.

Personally, I like 4 days. However, we can do all the shows we want to see (F!, Alladin, Billy Hill) all the rides we want to go on(some twice), take our time and take in any "special moments" along the way in 3 days.
