Hi all

I am going on a once in a lifetime trip to Europe in January with my 8 yo and 10 yo kids. We are travelling from Australia and going to Paris for 5 nights and London for 10 nights as well. Because of the age of my kids I don't want to push them too hard to see everything so prefer longer time periods in less amount of places.

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how many days/nights you should spend at Eurodisney (this is additional to the 5 nights in Paris) to make the most out of all it has to offer for what would seem to be their only ever trip there.

We will be in a castle club room and I had originally intended to book a 3 night/4 day package but flight arrival time means that I have an extra night up my sleeve. I could add this extra night to London or Paris but am considering increasing my time at Eurodisney to a 4night/5day package.

Any thoughts???

Just come back this week and been plenty of times before, I'd say 2 day is ample, we managed to do everything we wanted to do in the studis park within 2 hours if we arrived for opening time. Leaving a day and a half + for the main park, we went last jan (20th) and a day was plenty to do virtually everything excepting the princess pavilion.

Personally think 5 days is far too much, I was counting down the hours till coming home after 2 days!!

Just my opinion and I have been lots of times previously, 3 days absolute maximum you'll need and that would allow you to do many things several times!

The longest i have been was 4 days/3 nights and we thought it was enough to do everything we wanted several times plus a day trip to Paris but we are a party of adults so not sure if with kids you need more time.
Said that I never get bored with the atmosphere there .....

Three nights four days would be long enought for you to have plenty of time to enjoy both parks.

I agree, 3 nights, 4 days is plenty of time to see everything. You'll be able to go at a good pace too being at the DLH :thumbsup2

For us 2 1\2 day was more than enough for us to do and see everything we wanted. We had done all that we wanted after 1 1\2 day. So the rest of the time we did the few things we really enjoyed over again. We were there March 2011.

We have always stayed 3 nights which due to our flight times has given us 2 and half days in the parks. We have always had small children with us and wished we could stay one more day to take our time to get round everything without feeling rused to fit everything in.

This time we have booked 4 nights which will give us an extra day. I think we need it as there is more to do in the studios since we were last there so I would like to spend a full day in there this time.

I've always gone for 3 days/4 nights and think it is the perfect amount of time to get everything done without feeling rushed. Anything less I don't really think would be long enough, especially with kids. Sounds like a fantastic trip!

3 nights/4 days - you could do everything in less time, but it would be very rushed I would think, and not as enjoyable as if you could take your time. With children 8/10yr old it might be nice to do things like the guided tour etc. you wouldn't really have time to much in 2 days!

I can't comment on how many days is needed as it will be our first time there too. Will you be going to Disneyland Paris first? If so, perhaps, consider some time to account for jetlag as well.

We too are staying at the Disneyland Hotel. We were going to stay for 3 nights and 4 days but then the "stay 2 and get 2 free" deal came up. So we thought we might as well stay for the 4th night seeing as its free! On our extra day (Sat), we are planning to go for EMH (if its available at that time of year) and then rent a car and go visit Fountainebleu and surrounding areas before coming back to have a meal at one of the Disney restaurants.

Thanks Shushh
Will be going to London first then Disney then Paris so I don't think jetlag will be a problem.
I think I will go for the 4 night option as I really want my children to get the most out of it.Can you tell me where you got the 2 for 2 deal from.
Cheers

The 2 nights free deal is available on the UK version Disneyland Paris website - however it is not available for Disneyland Hotel Castle Club rooms (those rooms don't attract the normal discount offers). You would however, get the free 2 nights deal on standard rooms at the Disneyland Hotel :).

I went in Jan last year (and just got back June this year) and the que times were noticeably different. We went for 2 days in Jan and managed to do everything we needed to do/see somethings more than once BUT we were tired so I would say 3 days is plenty of time in January

i think 3 days is enough for disney, but id be more worried about what you can do in london for 10 days??

i would cut your london stay in half and travel 3 hours down the M4 and come over and spend some time in the nicest country in the UK............WALES! ;)
