how many days on an AP?

We went over to dak today and I had to get a new pass because I left my old one in a pocket and it went through the laundry. While she was entering my stuff, I asked her if she could see how many days we had put on it. She said yes, so far 64. I figured it was in the 50's, and I thought it might get to 60 before it expires on 7/26. But it won't make it to 70, because there are only enough days left for 69. This is probably the last year before that slows down for several years, because our oldest starts kindegarten in tennessee this fall, so we won't be coming back until the winter holidays. That just seems kind of crazy to me. I know that there are a lot of people who put more park days in than that a year, but that's probably a record year for our family. A day at disney world really has been cheaper than going to a movie.

Is this the sort of thing we should be embarrassed about, because I don't think most of our people would really understand it?

Wow, almost 70 days! I thought we were doing good since we'll have almost 50 this year. I agree with you about the movies; there we spend $30 to $40 for two hours. WDW seems like a much better bargain to us. Most of our friends and family think we're crazy for going to WDW so much, but we love it. I guess they just don't understand the magic!

I live in CT and we are doing 20 days on an AP this year and I thought we were doing good.

We have had APs and done 4 or 5 trips of a week at a time, so nowhere near your record.

I just bought my first ever APs and we are going to redeem & start using them on Oct. 23rd. We currently have 15 DVC nights booked @ WDW (over 3 trips), so we'll probably get about that many days on them! 50+ has me green with envy, but 3 WDW plus hopefully 1 DL trip in under 365 days will be a huge record for me. Gotta' start somewhere!

I know you probably know this and not sure if you were even implying it, but a WDW AP is not good for DL.

Congratulations, that's quite a feat! I guess that I use mine about 20-25 times a year, DH is in the high teens.

Thanks for the reminder- yes I was aware of that and provided they still allow it plan to use some of the 7 days I have left on my MYW No-expiration Park Hopper tickets for the planned DL/VGC trip in Oct. 2010. That said, wouldn't it be cool if they make a "super premium" AP that IS good at both resorts??? Perhaps make it a DVC-only upgrade option...
