How many days off season?

We are going black friday, and then either M-Th or possibly S-Th. We've never gone off season so have no clue how much we can get done in one day. What's your experience? It's me, DH and DD3. Not sure if DD will need to nap or not, at home sometimes she does, sometimes doesn't. Plan to be there every day at park opening until closing, with at least one magic morning. Thanks!

With that many days I'm sure you will be able to see everything you want. 5 or 6 days is plenty at DLR.

Make sure you use Rider Swap so you and DH can each take a turn on rides DD can't do.

As many as you can afford. Honestly, I was surprised to spend 9 days one year, and we still did not feel like we were done.

I'm just back from a trip with a 4 year old. She is hit or miss on naps at home, but definitely needed them in DLR.

With parks only open from 10am-8pm, and around 3 hours lost to naps (nap plus travel time) I was surprised by how little actual park time we had. (Plus there were breaks for lunch, dinner, snacks, etc.) Everything just takes longer when going at kid pace. And the child swap is great, but it does eat up time.

We did 4 full days and 2 partial (travel) days. I'd say that was the minimum I'd do with a young kid. We could have easily done 6 full days. We did almost everything once, but we missed a few things (and we could have spent more time on some of our favorites).

I would honestly think that 5 days is enough to see every that you want to without feeling rushed. You can go at a more relaxed pace, and not feel the urge to do everything at once.

I would expect Black Friday to be very busy. The week after Thanksgiving weekend will be pretty light.

3 days is usually enough for us regardless of when we go. But we are always there before opening to take advantage of the slower early park hours. To me this is key to get the most done in the least amout of time.

Do you think the Sat. after Thanksgiving would be better than black Friday? We are going "that" day with family and they can only go one or the other and can't go with us the following week as they are heading back up to San Fran (we are all visiting fam in socal for the holiday).

Absolutely NOT! Any day that weekend (Fri-Sun) will be busy. But if I had to pick one day I would do the Friday.

Personally if your going to be there friday, I would do the entire weekend. You get more park hours, you have more availablity to thinks like fireworks and Fantasmic. If you work it right in the morning, then take your brake, you'll go back with fastpasses for all of your favorites to be able to ride them again.

My problem with the short hours is that at 10am, your fighting bigger crowds than if the park had opened at 8.
