How many days? Least crowded days?

Looking at June...

Would a three day hoper give us enough time to cover both parks?

What days would be the least crowded during the summer? Avoid weekends?

Would parades, fireworks, etc. be scheduled during the week, too? What about the Electrical Parade? (That is now at DCA, correct?)

Thanks for any help! :sunny:

Yes, the Electrical Parade is at DCA--they usually show it around 8:45 in the summer.

Parades and fireworks are every day during the summer.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are usually the low-crowd days.

3 days would be a minimum. Go longer if you can. The way I look at it--think if you were going to WDW but only MK and the studios were there and you've never been to either--how many days would you go to cover both parks? Bear in mind that DL/DCA have more attractions than both of those parks combined. DL should have 53 attractions operating next June (54 if Space Mountain re-opens earlier than we all expect) and DCA has 30 attractions currently operating.

As usual, Iceskatejen knows her stuff! Our first trip was October, off season and we had three and half days. We came no where near seeing everything. I think for a first trip (especially given next summer with 50th anniversary crowds), you need three full days for Disneyland, one for DCA. Ideally if you had five days you would have time to swim, really shop at DTD and catch some favorite attractions again.
