Hi. I am planning to go to Orlando this Dec. 15-18 with my two friends. After making some research for the hotel, we are planning to stay at the All Star Movies. Now my question is

Can we do two disney parks in a day? We only have two days and we want to see the best places there. This is our plan

Dec. 15: arrival 5:00PM

7:00 PM - Pleasure Island

Dec. 16: Seaworld AM
Disney Park :Magic Kingdom PM

Night: Dinner show: Arabian Nights

Dec. 17: Disney Park: Epcot AM
Disney Park: MGM
Disney Park: Fireworks PM

Dec. 18: ????
We are leaving at 4 PM. Is there is something we can do in the morning? Our plane leaves at 4:30 pm so I think we can still use 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
How about the water parks?
Any comment or suggestion if the time alloted is ok? thanks.

Seeing 2 Disney parks in a day is going to be hard, I think. If it were me, I would choose 2 parks and see as much of each of the 2 as I could. There is so much to se and do at DW you should do your homework and know the layout of the parks and the things that you want to do at each one when you arrive. As for the morning of departure day, we always spend that time in a park until we HAVE to leave.............Have a great time!!::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I'd do AK on your last day. I usually do it in half a day. A water park would be iffy weather-wise at that time of year.

You're really doing three parks a day with the third being in the evening. I think you're going to be spending as much time traveling are you are enjoying.

With only 2-1/2 days for five parks (including a water park) I would probably stay with Disney parks and save the others for another trip.

One thing I would suggest for your current plan is to switch MGM and Epcot on the 17th because Epcot has a great show/fireworks on the lake about 9:00 pm every night.

Here's what I would do with 2-1/2 days (I am assuming you're young and don't have kids)

15th - Pleasure Island

16th - MK & Fireworks (at MK) with a dinner and drinks at BW (they have a great piano bar called Jelly Rolls)

17th - MGM most of day and then Epcot-stay for Illuminations. Also, you can walk to BW from Epcot if you had fun the first night.

18th - AK, or hang out at resort pool, or hit one of the parks that you felt you needed more time for.

Whatever you decide to do, I would do some homework and make sure you know what you don't want to miss in each park. Have a great time!

So, if there are 2 parks that I have to visit, which are they?

I think Magic Kingdom is a big recommendation, right. Is it like the heart of Disney World?

So how about this itinerary?

Thursday (Dec. 16) - Sea World
Friday (Dec. 17) - Magic Kingdom
Sat.. = Epcot, MGM, or Animal Kingdom?

We are after the "pictures" that we'll take:D Sea World and Magic Kingdom I guess are good for that. So, what's the deal with Epcot, MGM or Animal Kingdom, with regards to "picture-taking":D

About the ticket, I saw some discounted price online.

Sea Word (2nd day free) is $52.50

Theme park is:

Ultimate Park Hopper Ticket ADULT CHILD (AGE 3-9)
1 Night / 2 Days $129 $104
2 Nights / 3 Days $176 $141
This can only be bought online and only be guests at disney resorts. I don't know if I have to book the resort with them too.

Arabian Nights Dinner Show is $26.95 (almost 50% off)
Pleasure Island is $15,95 (almost 50% off)

I'm also considering the other dinner, if the are better that Arabian Nights.

Medieval Times
Pirates Dinner Show
Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede
Sleuth's Mystery Dinner Show

Bottom line:

1. Most popular park next to magic kingdom?
2. Most popular dinner show?

Last but not the least, I'm checking some sellers who are selling hopper tickets in ebay. They have good records and they have been selling disney tickets for a while. They sell:

2 day hopper ticket plus Pi or DQ for $133.

Are the All Star Movie Resort ok or are there better value hotels out there. I checked some hotels at downtown disney but they don't have good reviews.

Thought? Suggestions? Thanks for the earlier tips. Keep them coming.

P.S.

I was posting my follow=up when the last post arrived. Sounds really good to me and very informative. It actually answered my last post. :D I'm getting there.

I think that you can probably combine AK and MGM into one day, but MK and Epcot really need a day each.

A little off the originial topic, but I would very much recommend Dixie Stampede over Arabian Nights. I'm probably a little biased, since I used to work at Dixie, but we went to see Arabian Nights a few years ago, and weren't very impressed with the show or the food. Having eaten Dixie food almost every day for three years, I can tell you it's good! ;)

Thus, my plan would be this
Day 1: MK
Day 2: Sea World/MGM or AK (You can see an awful lot of Sea World in half a day if you try!)
Day 3: Epcot

Have a great trip!
