How many days does everyone usually go to Disneyland for? Lately we've been doing trips of 5 days in both parks, but this august we're looking at a 3 day trip.....not sure how I feel about it. It'll be enough time to get everything done and seen.....but I'll miss my extra 2 magic days :upsidedow

We have only ever been for one day :(

We took our DS when he was 3, 5, and 6. We could only afford one day (even though we live 9 hours away), so we got to the gate at 7:30 and stayed past midnight, no breaks.

We had a great time! But we're saving up to go for more than one day. I don't want to go again until we can "do it up right," and maybe even stay in the Disneyland Hotel.

3-4 is our usual. This year we did 4 1/2 days (went in for about 6 hours the day we got there). But never less then 3.

Almost always 3 days and then 2 part-days (4 nights in the hotel). So we go to the parks the evening of our arrival and the morning of our departure. The incremental cost of adding 1 or 2 days to a pass is comparatively small, especially before the price increase, and especially as I'm only buying my own ticket.

My last trip was a Halloween party (so Disneyland 4 PM - midnight) and then 1 full day in both parks. It was really crowded (even at the party!) but if crowds hadn't been so heavy I could've done pretty much everything I wanted to!

We do a minimum of 4 days. Sometimes we have gone for 5 days. We feel with 4 full days we can see and do everything we have planned without having to rush and lose the magic of DLR!! But if I had only 2 days I would be happy because hey..It's Disneyland!!:confused3

I have 2 trips planned for 3 days each. I found 2 days can feel like you missed things, so we're adding a day to see if it is over-kill or just right.

Five is optimum for us too but I can make 3 work. :goodvibes With 5 we take long midday breaks to swim etc. When we stay at the GCV I can't help but insist on a pool day- it's just such a great resort. Our next trip may only be three days so we'll see.

Since it is our only vacation for the year it is 5-6 days, also 2 days driving both ways.

We usually do 3 but our next trip is 5 and i'm super excited!:cool1: The one other time we did such a long DL trip was a few years back and we used a day to go to the beach, do some DTD shopping and a character breakfast at Goofys. Another day we also did a dinner at California Pizza Kitchen and some swimming. It made it feel more like a vacation rather than a quickie trip to just DL.

We didn't feel like we had to hurry up and get in all the rides. We took our time and one day went just for the evening. One day we went just in the morning. It was sooooo nice!:lovestruc

we usually do 5 days, with our arrival day checking in about 2 or 3 and then hitting the parks. for our upcoming trip, i got 6 day hoppers....so we can do "one more thing" the morning before we drive out. ;)

We always have 3 full days in the park. Meaning the day we get there we do NOT go into the park. (Its tough to be right at the gate and not be able to go in, i'll tell ya)

But we get everything done & have a great time :goodvibes

We've always done 3 until our last trip which was 5. 3 is doable. 5 is better, of course..but 3 is doable :)

We only had 2.5 days last time and this certainly wasn't enough for us :( This time around we have decided on 6 days.

Our first trip was only one day. Last trip was 3 and a half and this one is for 6. 3-4 is a good amount of time...but I am a Disneyland addict and would love to just live there.

In November I did 9 and did not get sick of it at all. We really had time to ride all our favorites multiple times, everything else a couple times, and really had time to stop and smell the roses. Lots of exploring the nooks and crannies of the parks. It was an amazing time.

Then my last trip was 5 and that was great too. I would like at least 4, but I would take whatever I could get

The Dobies stay for 4 or 5 nights, depending on how impoverished we happen to be feeling.

We typically arrive early afternoon on the first day, and leave after lunch on the last day.

We Dobies like to nap and swim in the middle of the day, though, so we need that many days to see everything. Plus there is the drinkage factor...

We usually get the 3 day park hopper. One day DL, another DCA, and on the third we do both parks and hit up are favs at each one.

3 at least, and I prefer 4 or 3 and two partial days. We've done an 8 day trip before and you wouldn't believe how much we managed to NOT do!

We just got back from a 5 day trip and it was PERFECT! We never felt rushed or anything and had time to take naps, etc every day. It was just the right amount of time for our family of five, plus two grandparents!
