How many days do you stay at DL?

Last time we went, we were there for three full days and one partial day, and we did pretty much see everything we wanted to see, and still had down time away from the parks. We are going again next week and will be doing the same schedule.

Of course, if price was not an issue, I would love to stay for a few more days. :rolleyes1

If you plan and rush, you can get it done in 2 days, if you go for 3 you can take your time a little more and do some extra things that want to do a second time... But that is not going back to the hotel for naps or anything, just being in the parks from open to close

Typically 5 days.....If it were up to me I'd sit and people watch and smell the wonderful smells on Main Street the entire time. :rotfl2: But neither my husband nor my children would want any part of that....they need the rides. So 5 days to make everyone happy :thumbsup2

We will be there roughly 6.5 days. We will however be spending a day at Legoland and the rest of the time spent at DL.

We always get 8 day hoppers. You can see the park in about 4 days if you go at a casual pace. We just like to spend the extra few days to go back and revisit things we enjoy.

last trip was 2 days way too short......next trip is 4 or 5 still planning!!!

I think there are a lot of variables. It can depend on time of year (schedule of park), crowd level, how far away you are staying, how large your group is etc.

When we have young children or babies with us, I like a good 4-5 days in the park to slow down our pace, and allow for naps. Same with going with a very large group, or at a busy time of year. If the group is smaller or it is a less crowded time of year, then 2-3 has been pretty adequate.

Last year with our 3 year old DD, we did 3 days. This time we went for 4. We've been here 2 days and already we've done tons of stuff. We're already starting to slow down and take it a little slower. At this age, I think 4 days is way more than enough IMHO.

Usually 5-6, but we go at busier times and like to see and do everything. Also my daughter is in a wheelchair, so it takes longer to see everything since her stamina up to extra long days.

We like to go for 7 or 8... It gives us time to hang out at the pool, and make sure we get everything in the we want to see. We went for 4 days in June, and it felt to rushed for us, and it was VERY crowded!

We did darn near 4 days in the off season (a couple weeks ago) and would have enjoyed 1 more day, so we could have gone a little slower...

Last year we were in the parks 3 days and it just wasn't enough for us. Last year was our first year going. This year we are hoping to upgrade to annual passes and go more often for short trips

Most trips are 5 days. We've done a few 3 day trips when our APs were current-honestly, we did 3-4 days every 8-12 weeks. I've also done a handful of single days or half days when I went with friends while attending a conference in the Anaheim area. As a family... we prefer the longer stays.

My preference is 5 days. I really enjoy it a lot more when I'm not in a rush, I like having time to just sit down and relax and people watch, I like being able to get my cravings satisfied at my favorite restaurants without having to narrow down my choices too much, and I love sitting in the Great Hearth at the Grand Californian for storytelling and campfire songs (little things like that). I go to Disneyland a lot though, and I do quite well on a 2 or 3 day trip, it's not like I haven't done all of the attractions before, or I'll never do them again or anything, I just prefer the pace of a 5-day trip and feel ready to go home at the end, not like I've rushed or missed something. If my trips are short, I prefer them to be solo trips, but longer trips are better for sharing with other people.

My previous DL trips have all been about 2-3 days, but this one will be a couple hours at DCA the day we arrive, then 3 full days, then the last day our flight doesn't leave until 10:00 at night, so we will have the whole day for the parks. However, this will be the most crowded time I've ever been there, so I'm expecting to probably see less this trip than I have my past two trips which were in January when the parks were fairly empty.

yea last time we stayed for 2 days...

Personally for me it was not enough... maybe like 3 or 4 days will be good because we dident even get to go to downtown disney!
