Just curious to know how many Cricut cartridges do you own and how long have you been collecting them?

Do you have a favorite store or website that you buy them from? Maybe get a deal once in a while.

I love the idea of the whole Cricut thing but right now I cannot afford one or the cartridges. I will be saving up for the Expressions though and will probably pick up a cartridge here and there to build up my stash. :thumbsup2

I have 22 cartridges. I have found them all over the place. Customcrops.com, hallmarkscrapbook.com and cherishedscrapsandcards.com are mostly where I have found them. I have had good luck with customcrops, others have not. The other 2 are awesome all around. Good luck!

I have 17. I got my baby bug last May and my Expression in November. Ten of mine came from ACM....George that came with my baby bug, the Paper Dolls bundle (4 carts) last spring, the 4 that came with my Expression, and I bought Dreams Come True there when carts were on sale. I got 4 in a sale that creativexpress ran last year where the price per cart went down if you ordered more carts. I think I got my 2 Mickey carts at hallmarkscrapbook, but I can't remember. I bought Base Camp at Walmart.

I'm pretty set for cartridges for a while. I'd like to get one of the Christmas carts and Happily Ever After, but I'm in no hurry. I'm waiting to see if I end up with a lot of princess photos from our upcoming August trip before I buy HEA. My BFF has Christmas Cheer. I have SYI and Paper Dolls, which have some Christmas stuff on them, so I won't buy CC or JOTS unless there's a REALLY good sale.

I have 35 with one more "free rebate" one on the way. The majority I have gotten as gifts from my very generous fater who loves to shop, the others I got when my Joanns used to let you use coupons on them and they would end up being around $30.00 to $35.00 a piece. But they stopped doing that. (but i stocked up before they did!!!)
I usually will get one when the ac moore, michaels, joanns has sales on them - I NEVER pay full price for a cart. Also my dad lives in SC so he checks out hobby lobby for me when they have a good sale.
I have to say - I love the disney ones, cutting up is a favorite right now, also paper dolls is a must have
let me know if you have any questions

I have 8 (which I used to think was alot:rotfl: )! I got most of mine on ebay except for George (came with the baby bug), Paper Dolls (Michael's on sale) and Mickey and Friends (A.C. Moore on sale). I have also never paid full price for a cart.

I have a few more that I have my eye on, but the Big Bug i starting to call my name so I may start saving for that instead (don't tell dh!!):rolleyes1

I have a mere 12 carts. I need to step that up a bit to catch up to Jennifer.

I have four. And two of those came with the Cricut itself. George/Basic Shapes, Keystone (which I actually LOVE even though it's just numbers and alphabet because it's perfect for doing basic school letters for teaching), Makin' the Grade, and ZooBalloo. Makin' the Grade has a really cute font, but I'm not sure I would buy it if I realized how little it really has for use in a classroom. ZooBalloo is fantastic. The font is cute, the animals are adorable, and the extra features are awesome. I'd like to get Animal Kingdom as well, so that I have a full set of animals to use. Not a fan of the George font, but Basic Shapes has been very useful.

I hope to eventually get 50 States, My World, My Community, and Tag, Bags, Boxes. I'm still on the fence about the Disney ones because I only have the smaller Cricut and am not sure they'd turn out so great at such a small size. Can you tell that my Cricut was bought for teaching more than scrapbooking? Haha.

you should look into locker talk and paperdolls. i think you would get alot of use out of those for your classroom. Paperdolls has a TON of extras on it

I have 11 and thought that was a lot until I read this thread. ;) I have: Celebrations,George & Basic Shapes, Jasmine, Base Camp, Mickey and Friends, Mickey Font, All Mixed Up, Animal Kingdom, Mini Monograms, Going Places, and My World. With the exception of one, I've bought all of them at either Michael's or AC Moore when there's been a sale.

I have 21 with 2 on the way (preorder on Pooh!) Would like to get JOTs at some point but no rush and would also consider Cursive 101...got my expression from DH for our anniversary last august...it truly has become an obsesesion and a love hate thing as I stand watching over the cricut to mae sure the paper stays adhered to the mat (even though I also tape around the edges!) Having said that though i really do love the cricut and design studio - just wish i had more time to play with it!

I have 7. Honestly, I'm not big on the shape carts but I love the fonts. It's hard for me to resist them. I would like the JOTS cart for sure and possibly Stretch Your Imagination but I'm in no hurry.

I have 9 but I don't get font cartridges since I have a craftrobo to do fonts.

I take my pampered chef rolling pin thingie and roll it around the paper and it makes it stick down pretty good. It is a lot smaller than a rolling pin and acts as a little wooden brayer. Maybe that would help.

Where in CT are you?

And what is a normal price for a cartridge and what price can they go on sale for normally?

I have 3 carts.....George (came with the Cricut), Keystone (came with it, the Walmart Black Friday thing), and the Mickey Font that DH grandma got me for Christmas.

I just got my Cricut for Christmas, and I doubt I get any new carts for quite awhile. I'm sure if I look, I'll find a bunch that I need, so I don't look!!! We'll be out of all debt except house and van by summer, and we're saving for a 10-day WDW trip at Thanksgiving, so no extra $$ is for spending! Plus, I'm on the BAN....and doing great!

Steph

I have 9 carts; Mickey & Friends, Mickey Font, Doodlecharms, George, Base Camp, Paper Dolls, Animal Kingdom, Beyond Birthdays, and Speaking of Winter. DH and DS got me Beyond Birthdays and Speaking of Winter for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and since they bought them at Walmart, I've sent away for the free cart so will have 10 before long!!!!! I'm also going to get the Pooh cart so that'll be 11.

Most of my carts I've gotten from Custom Crops. I've gotten 1 from Michaels when they had a sale but my Michaels always seems to be out of most of them. Three carts came from Walmart. My Walmart actually has a pretty good selection (better than Michaels).
