Geeze Louise - between bobbiwoz (17), momsgonegoofy (11) and DVCMike (lord knows how many) it is hard to tell DW that 5 is enough.

You are all my heroes! :worship:

Just remember... It's not the number of contracts that matters, it's the number of points on the contract.
Even if a Member had 300 points, if that was broken down into six 50 pointers they would be in good shape.

Personally I'm sitting with 15 at the moment.

Currently just two, and I don't really see us adding more until grandchildren come along. Then... well, all bets are off after that! ;)

You are right and based on the polls I've seen in the past, the average DVCer has about 300-325 points. We are just under that at 270 with 3 contracts but keep adding small ones as the money rolls in.

But managing 15 contracts requres a good spreadsheet it would seem. Then again, all you have to concern yourself with is the total number of points and how much each vacation takes (and of course the maintenance fees).

:)3 here. 2 at OKW, 1 at BWVs. Don't see us adding on anytime soon or even at all. Although I would love to have VWL points!

I wish there was a way to only display the VWL or the BWV contracts( for instance) on a page on the members site. We bought points as we could, and there isn't any order to the placement of the points on our "points" page. We have had points taken out of the "wrong" home resort at the 7 month mark at times, but that hasn't happened often, and it's always been addressed satisfactorily.

we've got 5, but that's only because I broke up the AKV contract into 3 parts just in case we wanted to sell it off.

We have 3 (and I am always scoping out the resale websites for perfect#4);)

Oh my goodness, how does one keep track of so many contracts?!?! I am nervous about adding on a 2nd contract.

We just bought our 1st contract back in Dec 2009, hoping to add on #2 at the end of this month... we go down in 2 weeks and need to decide exactly where to add on!

OMG, that is exactly my problem! I know I want to add on but I can't decide where to add on.

For those who have multiple contracts at different resorts, do you find it hard to schedule vacations? I've been thinking about adding on a AKV contract but I love BLT and would be bummed if I had to shorten a stay because I didn't have enough points at 11 months out.

I have 25 contracts for a total of 1,250 points - all in the same Use Year.

13: 3 at OKW, 2 at HH, 1 each at the other 8 resorts (all the same UY)

5 contracts since this Feb, (2 small) oh yea we are done for awhile! I hope

We have 2 contracts and are closing on our 3rd soon. At the moment, we have 2 AKL. We have 160 and 110. We are adding 50 in a few weeks. This will give each of our kids 160 points each one day. We want to add on 200 points after that (in 2 100 point contracts - one for each kid) next but not sold still on WHERE. DH loves BLT but I'm just not thrilled. Where is Polly DVC when you need it?! Only time will tell...

Technically I have 3. When we made our initial purchase, it was split in to two separate contracts (170+170), then added on an additional 50 a year and a half later. So, I have an original contract, a .1 and .2. I'm saving now to do another add on, and have a .3 sometime soon!
