How many children did you want vs How many did you have?

I've got one sweet little boy, he's 3.5

We're hoping to be blessed with # 2. I've always wanted 2 children.

We wanted 3 or 4. We have 2, one boy and one girl. We are very blessed! I've had 5 miscarriages, so I feel very fortunate to have any! Adoption is not out at this point. And we do have the space and can afford more right now (you know the economy, that could always change, lol).

My husband and I met in our early 30's. Wanted 4 kids but got 2. Our 2 sons have been the light in our lives.....4 would have been fun, but our lives are complete!

We wanted 5, had 2. Between miscarriages, fertility treatments and AWFUL pgs (was not allowed to hold my dd for months when pg with ds due to placenta abruption... how do you explain that to a 1 year old), the Dr said she really wouldn't support us going for anymore. So when ds finally arrived home healthy dh checked in and got himself fixed. Now I am quite content with my two.

At age 20, I was overheard proclaiming I would have four children.
At age 30, I was holding out for two.
DS was born when I was 42.
I have one wonderful child and life is good!

Wasn't supposed to have been able to have any children. Doctors were so wrong I have one beautiful daughter, now 9! I wanted a sibling for her (I have 3 brothers myself) but mother nature decided that one miracle was enough I almost gave her one though it was a tubular pregnancy I almost got blessed twice.

She is my all!

Both of us have travelled the world before we met each other. I wanted 2 but ended up with 1 wonderful daughter and had her@40.

I had always wanted 2 or 3. I have 1 wonderful DS (6). My husband past away when my DS was a baby. I feel blessed every day that I have my DS, he is such a joy to me. Sometimes I feel bad that he does not have a brother or sister but this was God's plan for us.
