I hope DCL leaves it alone, as I remember when there was NO loyalty program.
I have typically found that the 2, 3, 4 day cruises, cost per day, is higher than the 7, and certainly higher than the 14 to 15 day cruises. Of course, price per day vastly changes between summer and September. So, a 7 day cruise in September could cost far less than a 3 day cruise Mid-July.
I think so also as far as cost goes but as far as silver gold to platinum it's the fastest way

Unless you're a kid whose parents start you cruising as an infant. You could be platinum before you even graduate high school without ever spending a thing. Now THAT seems crazy to me.
Yeah. My four year old DD will be gold at age 6...and they only pay child rates.

Well, if they are actually paying their fare I have no issues with them earning status. If the parents are paying though...![]()

If days are counted to reach higher club levels, might as well consider a room category factor too. Those that pay conceirge or 4A vs. category 11, etc.

I was mainly being tongue in cheek to those who were whining that some people get higher status with shorter cruises. Why are they not whining that kids who have little if any to do with where they go (meaning the under tween at least set) on vacation get status.
Frankly I don't give a hoot about what status someone is. I wouldn't take a cabana if it was given to me, I don't do excursions, and from my experience on the cruise I was just on, there was plenty of spa, Palo, and Remy availability even on the cruise. It seems mostly about bragging rights to me.

I want each cruise to count twice when I have to pay the 200% single supplement.

Has anyone ever seen any official (from a Disney employee) information on the mix of CC members on a cruise? How many are silver, gold, platinum, and how many are first time cruisers?

I'm impressed with all the repeaters. That could be 1/3 of the cabins. Wow.
