How many can sleep in a Beach Club room?

We booked a studio room at BC that sleeps 3 adults in separate beds, because there is a daybed in the room. We have another adult that would like to go. Is there a way to have 4 adults in a one bedroom on separate beds?

Studios are in the villas. They have 1 queen bed, 1 double sleeper sofa. No daybed. A 1 bedroom has a king bed in the master, 1 queen sleeper sofa. Now if you mean a regular Beach Club room, there are 2 queens, some have daybeds.

If you are referring to a studio at BCV, then I don't believe that they have a day bed in addition to the one queen and one sleeper sofa. We've been in the studios and they only sleep four adults who have to share the bed or sleeper bed. Some of the studios have two queen beds, but most of them have a queen and a sleeper sofa.

Now you could get a regular room at the BC and have three separate sleeping areas, since many of those rooms have daybeds. But the only way to get four adults in separate beds is to bring an air matress.

There are no studios at the Beach Club Villas that have two queen beds. All of them have one queen bed and a double size sleeper sofa. No day bed.

The only WDW DVC resort that has two queen beds in the studios are at OKW.

Ok, sorry I user the term studio. I did in fact book a room a the Beach Club Resort that has 2 queen beds and a daybed, I don't know what the name if the room is, but that's what it has. I can not bring an air mattress as I am flying. Basically what I'm getting from this thread ( besides the fact that I use the wrong title for the room a rented) is that a one bedroom only sleeps 4, 2 in the bedroom and 2 in the living room. I guess what I'll try to do is get a one bedroom and pay for a cot.

There are 18 or 20 (can't remember the exact number) rooms at BCV'S which have two queen beds in the studios. We've stayed in one of them. ):

There are plenty of Beach Club rooms that sleep five. Just ask for a room with a daybed or a roll away bed if you don't get the daybed in your room. :)

We have flown with our twin Aero bed. Fits very nicely in our rolling duffle bag.

There are two 'types' of rooms at BC (including BCVs)...regular rooms and vacation villas (studios, one bedroom and two bedroom villas). If you need space for 4 adults you may want to look at renting points for a one bedroom. That would cost significantly less than paying cash for the same villa. I would seriously consider bringing down an Aero bed as well. We found that it worked very well in the one bedroom villa. It is very compact and fits easily into a smaller bag.

Respectfully, that's just not true if you are talking about the DVC resort.

Perhaps you were staying in the second bedroom of a dedicated 2 bedroom DVC villa. Some of those do have two actual queen beds in the second bedroom, but none of the studios at the BCV do.

There are no bookable BCV studios with 2 queens, they do no exist. However, as mentioned above, for whatever reason they could release the 2nd BR of a dedicated 2BR villa as a studio.

OP you mentioned getting a 1BR and renting a cot - DVC will not allow you to rent a cot. Also be aware if you bring your own air mattress you will have to provide the bedding for it as well at DVC.

No, they can't split a dedicated 2 bedroom villa into a studio and a 1 bedroom. There is only one entrance to the dedicated villas. The second bedroom does not have the kitchenette, either.

I thought perhaps that the poster had stayed in a dedicated 2 bedroom with family or friends and perhaps was remembering the bedding in the second bedroom of that villa.

Lock-off 2-bedroom villas can be split. However, the studio portion is a true studio - that means one queen bed and 1 double sleep sofa.

Ah yes, thanks for correcting me, I wasn't thinking straight. There is no door to the hall from the 2nd BR of a dedicated 2BR!

Yes, we were in a 2 BR villa. I get very confused over the whole lock off issue. :)

There are 1BR DVC villas that sleep 5 (OKW, BLT, AKV) but you will still only have 3 separate beds - 1 King, 1 queen/full sleeper sofa & 1 twin sleeper chair.

FWIW, as a general rule, DVC resorts will not provide for a cot. There is a chance that you might be able to get one at a resort that has a sister hotel attached but don't count on it (as far as I know, that practice was stopped).
