I am wondering if I could fit my 10 year old son, my 6 yo daughter and myself onto Dumbo with my 1 year old onto my lap? We are all on the skinny side - just hoping to take one ride on Dumbo all together while the baby can still ride on my lap! Thanks in advance!

I don't think they'll allow four people in one, and last time I took two small kids and thought it was tight (and I'm average-sized). Sorry. :-(

Sounds too tight. You all need to wear the seatbelt which may / may not work.

We were there last week and had our 10yo and 7yo ride together while my hubby and I hitched the Dumbo immediately in front of them. It worked great (and got some fun photos too).

We're all average sized and we all noticed it was an extremely tight fit. Have a great time!

The 6 year old would need someone 14 or older to ride with. (Must be 7 to ride without someone 14 or older along). So mom will have to ride with 6 year old and baby while 10 year old rides alone.

My mom, brother, and I were all able to ride when we were about that age (we were all average). The problem would be the baby, they may or may not let you place the baby on your lap. It's worth a shot, but they have let 3 people on in the past and the one seat belt that goes around everyone is pretty large. It will definitely be tight.

I don't believe the baby can sit on your lap. When we ride with our toddler the are pretty insistent she sit on the seat.

I think they will put the 10yo and 6yo in one seat and you and the baby in another. When we rode with our infant, they made us sit her on the seat next to me.

Two or a small three. Your 10-yr-old can ride alone and the other two will be able to fit in with you.

No, the 6yo won't be allowed to ride with the 10yo (BT/DT..) The 10yo can ride in one elephant, and the other 2 children can ride with the adult.

We were there this weekend and a mom was trying to sit with 3 kids and she was told that would not work. She also had two kids, not age 14, in another Dumbo, and they were told they could not do that either. About 5 minutes later she and her family got off the ride and the worker tried to tell her to wait so they could ride on the next one, in a different seating arrangement, but she left.

So are they going to make me try to sit my 3-month-old on the seat next to me? Can I wear her on this ride?

Kids ages 7-14 can ride together. But a 6 and under needs to ride with someone over 14. Also if the child over 7 doesn't appear to behave like a 7-14yo they will need to ride with over 14.

I've never had a problem holding a baby/toddler on my lap for this ride, so I don't think that will be a problem. But I agree with the others that they won't let all of you ride in one Dumbo. They'll have you ride with the youngest two and the 10 year old will get his own Dumbo.

You won't have a problem holding your baby on your lap, especially if baby is being worn. My toddlers didn't have to sit on the seat until they were 2 and even then my daughter was able to ride on my lap because she's exceptionally small.

As for how many will fit, it depends on the size of the adults and older kids more than anything. We've fit my husband, my 6 year old, and my 2-year-old boy that's almost the size of a 4-year-old together. My husband is overweight, but not severely. So, conceivably, if your children were on the smaller side, you might all fit. That being said, I'd just go in assuming the 10-year-old has to ride alone.

That's too funny! I had just been thinking "What a great picture! I wonder who they asked to get the shot?" as I scrolled down and saw your post.
My sister of course! If you have someone who can fly in the elephant in front of you (or if you can fly in the elephant in front of your kids) you can get some great pictures
