We will be going to the World in December. It will be my family of 4 Myself, DH, DS (11) and DD (8) along with my sister's family of 4 2 adults and 3 kids ages 11, 10, and 7. Will it be possible for the 9 of us to be seated at the Sci-Fi, or will we need to be broken up into 2 groups?

We were there this last June. The cars that we were in could seat 6. I do not recall seeing any larger cars.

When calling for PS they should be able to tell you whether there are larger cars or not.

I have a group reservation at sci-fi for April. We will be a group of 12, and they said it will be either in 2 or 3 different cars but they would try to get us two cars close to one another.

It's not exactly the best place for a group gathering, as you can't even really face each other to talk, but everyone said they wanted to join us, so I made the reservation.. I'll be curious to see how it works out for us lol.

If you are willing to not sit in a "car" facing forward, there are some regular tables that are placed sideways to the screen, they have a car front and back and can accomodate 8 people.

Just as a matter of interest, where do they sit you if you are eating solo? I want to go this September but would really like to sit in one of the cars.

They will probably put you in a car, but there might be 2 strangers sitting in the "front seat" while you're in the "back seat" for example. If you're uncomfortable with that you can let them know, though.

When DD and I went in Nov we were given option of front seat in front of the "hitchhikers" or a table w/umbrella in the back of the parking lot.She picked car and got her license. There were larger tables for big groups. There was a birthday party when we were there and there had to be 15-20 kids.
