How many bones have you broken

I have broke 1 bone in my life and that was my left ankle when I fell off my Bike at age 8.

Hmmm, one car accident did me in for 7. Fibula & tibia on right leg that needed metal rod (still have that), 3 bones in my foot that needed pins (same leg), dislocated my ankle several inches (opposite leg) and a rib.

Not a good day.

I was just going to post 0 when I remembered that about 3 years ago I banged my toe on a shopping cart and I'm 99% sure one toe broke but I didn't go to the drs. for it.

I snapped my wrist bones(Radius and Ulna) rollerskating. I forgot my skates at home so I borrowed my friend's sister's skates that were about five sizes too big. It didn't end well for me.

The Dr put my cast on too small so I could move my wrist around and the bones started to grow together so I had to have it rebroken and reset. THAT was fun.

1. My older sister ninja-kicked me in the hand, fighting over the remote control to the television. Spiral fractured it, ruined my entire summer including the planned family vacation we were unable to take because I was in a cast, and nearly permanently crippled me. When they removed the cast, my arm had atrophied so badly they thought I'd never regain use of my hand...apparently something that only happens to old people. My ortho published a case study about me.

A finger while playing volleyball.
My cheekbone from a fall in the shower.
A big toe playing freeze tag (planted my foot to keep from plowing into 2 people while I was 'it' and my toe popped when it slid into the toe box of my shoe).

All as an adult. Good grief!

Toes so many times I lost track, but am expert at 'setting' them.
Dislocated knee multiple times.
Bone in top of foot.
Fractured wrist.
Fractured collarbone.
Cracked ribs twice - once from coughing, once from leaning over chair arm.
Broke same leg bone three separate times in there different places.

None. Also I still have my appendix, tonsils and wisdom teeth. Up until 10 years ago I had never had a stitch.

I love milk but I've broken 6 toe bones.

I broke 3 metatarsals on left foot in a car accident. My dad was laying tile and I went to visit them on my lunch hour. He scrubbed across the top of my right foot with his steel toed boots and said, "Sorry, are you okay?" I didn't really even feel it. I went back to work and my 3 middle toes started throbbing. I told my mom that he had broken my toes but I didn't go to the doctor because they really didn't do anything when I broke my metatarsals except give me crutches. They didn't believe me until I was visiting a few weeks later in flip flops and mom asked why my toes were purple.

My sister asked me how long it takes to get over broken toes because she recently broke her big toe. I told her it took about 4 years for me to feel comfortable tiptoeing with my left foot and the broken bones not aching with the cold and 3 years on my right foot. She wasn't very happy about that.

don't know if it's technically considered a bone, but I broke my right patella (knee cap) twice. Was in a car accident and hit the center console and broke it..got the cast off, and slipped and fell the next day, and rebroke it :( That was many years ago..and I can still predict snowfall with it, lol

Absolutely, the patella is a bone. My DD22 has fracured her left patella twice. She has some arthritis pain in that knee noe.

Broke the metatarsals in my right foot in 8th grade. Not sure how many, specifically (2 or 3 I think).

1 (my brother kicked me. At the hospital, the tech couldn't read the xray with any certainty, and my Dad ended up pointing out the fracture on my pinky finger)

I had a Undisplaced Greater Tuberosity Fracture.

This is frequently seen in skiing and mountain biking injuries. I fell in my basement pushing a bike.

Its the bump of bone on the upper part of your arm.

Lots - but I used to ride horses and that's a good way to break bones, especially if you are a bit of a dare devil (which I was as a teen). So I have broken: my collarbone, my leg, my arm, several bones in my foot (horse stepped on it), both ankles (at different times, broke in three places the second time). Then two years ago I was walking my dogs and they tripped me; I fell hard on the sidewalk and broke my arm again. I am probably forgetting some. But that adds up to: seven?

I broke my radius and ulna when I fell and tried to catch myself with my left arm. Wore an external fixation device for 7 weeks. Those 7 weeks were absolutely miserable. I've also broken many toes (dangers of growing up around horses... but worth it!). Broke my cheek bone once. THAT was painful.
