I just counted and I sleep under 6 blankets!

It's the weight, not the warmth that I seek for a good night sleep.

How many blankets do you sleep under?

I would die!!! Can't stand the weight!

We program our heating unit for 62* at 10PM-7AM, then it goes back to 72*. Love to sleep cool - have flannel sheets, plus a very light alternative down blanket. So snugly!!

Summer - 72* cotton sheet only. We never use our overhead fans (what a waste) can't stand wind on my face! Our heat/AC vents are in floor.

Right now we have 3 thin quilts. I keep the heat at 65 and I need a fan on low to circulate air so it can get chilly. In the summer, we only use the sheet if it's really warm. No AC at night unless it's really hot or humid (gross...where we live it's not that way often thankfully) windows open and fan going on high is usually enough.

One, with a fan on. I can’t sleep with nothing over me..I feel too exposed. I have a window a/c in my room and I crank it in the summer and sleep under a quilt lol

2-3 in the winter (plus the top sheet) depending on how cold I am. I really do like the weight, too, though. We try to keep the bedroom about 65-degrees in the winter, but we have lousy insulation, so if the temps are single-digits or colder for a while, the bedroom ends up around 58-degrees.

Usually just the top sheet and (maybe) one light blanket in the summer. We don't have A/C, so it depends on the outside temperature.

Flannel sheet and a quilt. I kick the covers off half the night because I get hot flashes.

3 in the winter - sheet, electric blanket that’s isn’t plugged in, and a quilt.

1 or 2 in the summer - just the sheer and sometimes the quilt. Always something, though.

In the winter and summer I use a warm duvet and a top sheet (that my husband hates and bundles onto the bed between us). In the summer I will often pull the duvet across my shoulders but leave my legs exposed as we don't have A/C and I work nights and sleep during the day. Occasionally in the winter when it's really cold (like now!) I'll add a blanket that my sister knit me or a microfiber blanket over top. Since the microfiber blanket is a king size it will occasionally replace the duvet if I time my laundry poorly and don't get it dried before bedtime (whatever weird time that happens to be for me)

In my bed I have a heavy comforter so one but DH goes under the top sheet, comforter and another blanket. That's too much for me. When I have insomnia and go to the couch I use two smaller blankets.

Ugh, I can't stand being hot when I sleep. Now that I'm single I sleep under one big, light, fluffy comforter with the fan blowing in my face and the window open just a little crack. It's heavenly!

There used to be about ten blankets on the bed, and most times I would still end up with no blanket in the middle of the night. Now that im divorced, I find I do well with the sheet and one, maybe two if it’s really cold. I also have the ceiling fan going for air circulation. My favorite are fuzzy blankets.

i got 3, one super thin on, one thin, and more heavy. I adjust base on how warm/cold it gets. When it gets super cold, i sometime will pull out another blanket to keep warm.

One, sometimes two. If I could sleep under 6 I'd be stoked. Even during the summer I need at least one.

:confused3 Just curious as to what temperature you fuzzy sheet and multiple-blanket people keep your rooms at. Our bedroom stays in the very low 60's (F) winter and summer although I prefer the rest of the house a good tad warmer. I also keep a fan going non-stop.

We're keeping our house at 61 day and night recently. I sleep with flannel sheets, three blankets, a down comforter, and a coverlet over me, and I usually wear leggings and a long-sleeved shirt to bed with a fleece jacket and thermal socks over that. If I'm really cold I'll wear a hat to bed as well. Sounds crazy, but I have a really hard time staying warm!

I just got a weighted blanket and it's everything I've ever wanted! Prior to getting it, I slept with a sheet, quilt, afghan and fleece but never quite got to the weight I'd like without feeling too warm most nights. The weighted blanket is 12 pounds for my full size bed and it is soooo comfy. It has a very soft fleece covering with little bumps that are very comfy when I'm sitting with the blanket on me. So good! If you really like the weight of blankets, it's worth the investment!

I voted 2-

A quilt and a semi thick and fluffy blanket. Plus the sheet. And I still wake up in a pool of sweat!

I sleep under a sheet, a thermal blanket, another blanket and my bedspread.
