Hey Webfoots! I'm a native Portlander living in SW, almost Beaverton, almost Tigard, near Alpenrose Dairy. Went to HS in Eugene (many moons ago) - go Lancers! Have a beach house near Rockaway- I'm a real beach baby, but we made our s'mores indoors this past rainy weekend. Worked for 5 yrs at the Wash Sq Disney Store, but left 2 1/2 yrs ago. Just back from WDW two weeks ago - next up, Disneyland end of Feb 08.

Let's see - Your son is 13, my youngest daughter is 20. I'd guess you're too young to remember Rusty Nails (Alpenrose's "spokesclown"). He scared me.

I'm from Oregon too! We live in the Hillsboro area. Century High School Marching Band/Colorguard will be marching in a Disneyland parade next Spring! My daughter is in Colorguard. My best friend and I will fly down for a couple of days to watch our daughters in the parade and then in June dh and I are surprising our kids with a week long Disneyland/Sea World/San Diego Wild Animal Park trip. They won't know until some point on our drive down.

I going crazy and I still have 19 days ! I wish it were tomarrow. Oh no I dont Im not packed. Im spending so much time on Dis that my DH is wondering if he will see me before we leave, but you all keep me going.

Yeah, Im not packed. Most of what we will take we arent wearing right now. It looks like there might be rain on Tues. We leave on Friday, and I have to work long days... And, Im here. It will get done right.

I know thats whats great about living in a cooler climate. You can get all your winter clothes out and pack your summer clothes. We got our luggage out today and my DS asked why we have to get things out so early? Funny! We have to pack! We meaning ME. So I will get the trustie list out and go at it. Sorry about the log hours. My DH works 12-16hr days, so I know what it takes out of you.

Hi ;-) I'm in Eugene, going the first week of February. Hopefully there will be some sun there then as we are going in search of it... It's supposed to be a very wet season this year. Wish Southwest still flew out of Eugene....
