so... just wondering how many times you've been to DLRP? how often you go? how long you stay for? whether you stay on site or off?

being nosy today

Tokyo Disneyland - Day Trip - October 2001

Disneyland Resort Paris - Hotel Cheyenne - July 2002
3 nights 4 days

Disneyland Resort Paris - Hotel Cheyenne - November 2002
4 nights 5 days

Disneyland Resort Paris - Sequoia Lodge (Bridal Suite) - December 2003 - Honeymoon
5 nights 5 days

Disneyland Resort Paris - Hotel Cheyenne - July 2004 - My Birthday!
3 nights 4 days

Disneyland Resort Paris - Hotel Santa Fe - July 2005
3 nights 4 days

Disneyland Resort Paris - Hotel Cheyenne - Christmas 2005 - 24th-26th December.
2 nights 3 days

Next year we are moving house so idea when we will go but I am getting a hefty pay rise when we move so it will enable us to go lots more - ideally we will go summer, Halloween and Christmas next year. 3 night 4 day stays eem like the best length - long enough to see everything but not too long that you over-expose yourself to it. There's only two of us, for now, so we get round the parks in plenty of time and we avoid thrill rides so that cuts down on queuing. We will always stay on site, and most probably the Cheyenne.

Been twice now, both Halloween. First time was Newport Bay for two nights last year, this year went for 3 nights at Cheyenne. Going again at Halloween next year (Santa Fe) but my summer bonus from work means we can go around end of May for a weekend. Probably Sequoia Lodge just for a change :)

As you can see from under my signature, I've been six times now - always stay onsite. We usually stay for 3 nights, except for the last visit which was just two.

Rhiannon and I have been 4 times so far - always for 4 nights and always onsite. Been in April (after Easter) once, Halloween once and Christmas season twice. Next one will be in June as we've never been in summer before.

I have been seven times to Disneyland Paris (will be eight soon!), and twice to Walt Disney World Orlando. Exact trips are in my sig. I've been quite a lot really! :earseek:

I've been once to WDW and once to DLRP. I have two more trips booked for DLRP, one is in 8 days time :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc and the other next August, and we are booked to go back to WDW in March 2007. My ambition is to visit all Disney parks before I am too doddery to travel. :teeth:

Our 8th trip to DLP is coming up in 5 days time, we have stayed at the Santa Fe, Newport Bay, Explorers, twice at Holiday Inn, Cheyenne and soon the Sequoia, and once off site (never again).

Also we have been to WDW Florida 4 times, always off site.

We do go on holiday to other places too, but I always have to fit Disney in between. I never get excited about going elsewhere like I do when we are going to Disney.

I know just what you mean Tia. We went to the Isle of Wight for a week in between WDW and DLRP. Although I was excited about going and we had a really lovely time, we spent a lot of time talking about what we would be doing on our next holiday (we had already planned our DLRP one by then) :rotfl2:
We have the chance to go to Australia in April 2007 as DH's brother has emigrated there and is getting married then. We did toy with going (for all of 5 seconds!) and stopping off at Disneyland Hongkong on the way back but in the end there was no contest and WDW won hands down! In case any of you are thinking we are being a bit mean by not going, the wedding is to be a very small affair in someone's back garden with a small BBQ afterwards. I think we have probably been invited out of politeness and we won't be causing any upset by not going, more likely relief all round. And when we priced it up, the cost was staggering    WDW was dirt cheap in comparison. I think Australia is somewhere DH and I will go when it is just us and the girls are grown-up.

I have only ever been on one non-Disney holiday abroad. That was my skiing trip to Austria when I was 15. Other than that, it's always been Disney / Disney combined with Universal / Disney combined with Paris...!!

All I can say is: "WOW"!!!!!

Hi,

have to add that we have been to WDW twice so far. First in October 99 for 7 days at the ASMo and this January for 11 days at Pop.

....now I´m planning to go next in December for at least 14 days...so you see the number of days are increasing :rotfl:

By the way, as you can see in my signature I have been 10 times to DLRP! Always onsite with an average of 3,5 days! :cloud9:

I have been 5 times to DLRP, once to wdw once to disneyland. We pland to go to wdw again in 2007 and DLRP twice a year until I can afford to go more often. I would also like to visit the Japan and Hong Kong parks but that is for the future
Nikki

:goodvibes I've only been twice so far - stayed for two nights on either occasion but am wangling to stay for 3 nights when I go in November 06. Another night in Disney Heaven! :rotfl:

I'll go through my trips, but won't do DW's - she's been so many times, both to WDW and DLP, that we'll probably have to spend a whole day working it out first! (my estimate is that it's going to be over twenty trips in total)

April 1997 : Disneyland California - offsite, 2 days (stop-over on way to Australia), solo trip.
October 2000 : Disneyland Paris - Disneyland Hotel, 3 nights, first 'official' holiday with girlfriend (who is now DW!).
October 2001 : Walt Disney World - offsite (I-Drive), 14 nights, with GF.
March 2002 : DLP - Newport Bay Admiral's Floor, 1 night / 2 days, with GF.
September 2002 : DLP - Disneyland Hotel, 4 nights, arrived with GF, left with my new fiancee (she said YES!)
October 2003 : WDW - offsite (I-Drive), 15 nights, with fiancee.
May 2004 : DC - Good Neighbour Hotel (Candy Cane), 6 nights, with brand new DW - part of our three week Californian honeymoon!
May 2005 : DLP - Sequoia Lodge Montana Room, 3 nights, with DW.
November 2005 : WDW - offsite (I-Drive), 16 nights, with DW.

And in the planning stages:
June 2006 : DLP - Hotel New York, 4 nights, with DW.

Twice to DLP - both times in the DLH for 5 days / 4 nights .
March 2004 ( flew BA from BHX ) + Nov 2005 ( drove in Audi ) .

As for next time who knows ?? Bump will put hols on hold for a while ( apart from my business trip to Dubai in April ) ...

I have been to DLP 4 times now: twice in the summer and twice at Halloween. in 2004 we went twice in the same year. Halloween 2005 was our first trip by Eurostar, the others were all by coach. :-))))).
