How many ADR's do I need?

We're going for 2 weeks in January. I have the "must have" ADR's already, but now I just need to figure out how many table service meals we are going to need. We have 2 small kids, so table service isn't always a great idea, however, counter service gets old.

All together, how many ADR's for 2 weeks?

I have usually found an ADR for each dinner, and we have had good luck walking in to lunch TS (W/O adr's) in March...Jan-my only consideration would be MLK weekend...then get Adr's for any meal you would like to sit down.
I would plan about 20 TS for 14 days...but you might want to consider late breakfast/earliest lunch seatings to eliminate one meal...get the DDE card if poss(like you have an AP)

We never do more than one a day... it takes too much time. But we do one most days, we prefer a late lunch, or very early dinner. (Kinda the same thing) but it allows us to get a bit of rest before taking on the evening.

It is harder with young kiddo's who don't like to sit still... but you know your kids. Every family is different. There are some great restaurants at WDW but just think about your family and how often it will work for them to calm down & sit in a table service restaurant.

I'd rather eat a hamburger in peace than Fillet Mignon in chaos any day.

That's a good point, Rella. The kids are pretty good during a meal, it's the waiting for the food to come, or after they've eaten that things get hard. Especially with my son. He's only 18 months, and is a very busy little fellow. While he's eating he's fine, because the boy loves to eat, but after that he's more than ready to get down and start getting into mischief.

I was thinking something like 5 table service a week, so 10 all together. My dh will think that's too much, I think it's as few as possible. What do you guys think?
