How many add on to their Home Resort each time??

I would think it would be easier to keep track of.....if you add on your home resort vs. adding on to other resorts especially if your add ons are 25-50 chunks at a time.

I just called my guide to add onto our home resort AKV. This is our first add-on, and we got a postcard with those great incentives.

We added on to our home resort, next time we will add on with a different resort. We have only stayed at AKV, but I would love to stay at all of the resorts to see which other ones I can fall in with.

We own at 2 resorts. Personally, I wouldn't own at more than that. I think it is much easier to keep points straight when you own at fewer places. We own at OKW and HH and have had no problem using out points at any of the other DVC resorts. I tend to plan well in advance and I'm sure that helps, but I see no advantage to having an 11 month window at several resorts. We're truly happy with whatever property we stay at so if we can't get our first choice we're happy with our home. If we ever choose to add on we'll do it at one of the resorts we already call home.

We bought 300 pts. at BCV and a little over a year later added on 100 pts. Couldn't be happier. We are now wanting to add on at BLT if they ever announce the dang thing.

VWL and BWV are both enough for Sun-thur nights in studio for adventure season and choice season.

with the new rule might buy some more VWL and BWV - but want to see how it works for me first.

We have added on twice since 2002. All our points are at BCV. I just thought for myself, it would be easier to keep track of it we kept them all at one resort. We love all the DVC resorts, but BCV is truely our favorite.

We've added on to our original BWV purchase twice, once from Disney and once from TTS, hence two different use year months. We love the BWV and really don't have much interest in adding on anywhere else. A while back we were considering adding on in Hawaii, but we're not getting any younger and that 14 hour flight/layover that we did in February was just a killer, so I'm pretty sure that talk of that add-on has come to a close. Hawaii is just spectacular, but traveling from the east coast has really taken some of the bloom off of that rose.

We have added on twice so far, both at our home resort AKV. In a few years, we may do one more add on, and we are considering BWV. We are staying there in Jan., so we will see if we like it as much as we like AKV and OKW.
