What is the breakdown of 2 Br villas at AKL and AKV? I was wondering, if I was to book a 2 br at the 11 month mark, which resort will I have a better chance of getting a 2 br villa?

Thanks for your help!!

At the 11 month mark you will find availability at either resort.

Jambo House has 82 two-bedroom villas and Kidani Village has 308 two-bedroom villas.

As disneynutz points out, you should have no problem booking a two-bedroom villa at either Jambo or Kidani at the 11-month booking window. However, there are only five two-bedroom villas at the Concierge Club Level at Jambo House and sometimes its difficult to book those villas.

By the way, the Kidani Village two-bedroom villas have three bathrooms; the Jambo House villas have only two bathrooms in the two-bedroom villas. Also, I believe that Jambo House has only lock-off two-bedroom villas, while Kidani Village has both lock-offs and dedicated two-bedroom villas. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong about that.

Good luck in getting the room that you want!

This is correct.

Thank you everyone for your wonderful answers. What would be better for 6 adults? 2 teens, 2 parents and 2 grand parents and 1 ECV? Thanks again.

If you went with a lock-off and put the grand parents in the studio, they would basically have their own room with a kitchenette. The studio would also have a door to the hallway. You would still have 3 baths if you took the lock-off in Kidani Village (2 baths in 1-bedroom, 1 in studio).

With a lock-off you give up the two queen beds in the second bedroom (studio) for a queen and a sleeper sofa.
