How lucky can one family get?!?!?!?!

I received a call from a friend of ours this morning asking if we had vacation plans for the summer. We had actually made ressies at Myrtle Beach for a week, but was not looking forward to it since DH and I both dislike the beach (DD loves it). She and her DH have a timeshare 7 miles from Disney World planned for June, and has one whole side of an 1800 sq. ft. villa that they are offering us for seven days for $500!! We will have a king size bedroom, living room with queen sofa bed, bathroom, and kitchenette....along with shared laundry room, full size kitchen, and larger living room. I thought this was an absolutely awesome deal!! Our vacation home in Myrtle was going to cost us $950 for the same amount of time!!

Anyone have any suggestions for buying park tickets? I'm sure we'll probably spend maybe 3 or 4 days at Disney, and I would LOVE to take DD13 to Discovery Cove one day (since DC includes admission to Sea World, we'd also spend a day there).

Any hints/tips would be greatly appreciated!!! WOOHOO....I'm soooo excited (and I just can't hide it)!!!!!!!!

That's pretty lucky!! What a great deal for you. I would suggest that you go on over to the Theme Park boards. They have some great info there. Also the Tips boards and the Families Boards. Have fun planning!!

What a great deal! I haven't been monitoring ticket prices, but there's always a thread on the budget board about tickets....you might try over there. Have a GREAT trip! Hope your DD doesn't mind TOO much that she'll be going to WDW instead of the beach!

Subscribe to the Mousesavers newsletter and then link through them to Ticketmania's web site. You will find very good tickets deals there from a reputable copany. I have gotten my last two trips tickets from them so they work and are good.

Sounds like a great deal!

We are headed to Discovery Cove for the first time this June. The only discount I could find on tickets was through AAA.
