Suzanne's post made me think that gas was really low!

Yesterday I paid $2.27. In my state gas is rapidly declining, with some stations dropping prices 10 cents or more.

I don't get gas often. A full tank will last me about 2 weeks so I guess I'm pleasently suprised when I get over to the tank. About 2 weeks ago I paid 2.47 and yesterday I paid 2.27.

I'm in the NE. I remember paying upwards of $3.40 late August/Early September.

This may encourage others that prices may go down in your area.

I paid $2.49 this past week. They're playing games now. When I passed this station in the morning, it was $2.59. In the afternoon it was $2.49. Then the next morning $2.59, $2.49 in the afternoon.

Last weekend was the first I noticed that prices here didn't take the usual weekend jump. They remained the same.

Hope they're lower today!!!!!

I paid $2.59 for regular unleaded at Costco yesterday. Normally I fill up 1 - 1/2 times per week, but have started a vanpool at work and my previous tank of gas lasted me TWO weeks. I pay out of pocket about $30.00 per month for the vanpool (employer subsidizes remainder) instead of filling my tank 1 - 1/2 times per week. HUUUGE savings.

While I drive on mondays, someone else drives the other days in this horrible Atlanta traffic!!!!

It was $2.32 last night (down two cents from 4 hours prior when I filled up). Can't wait to see what it is this morning. :cool1:

$2.86 last night and with Wilma coming, it will probably climb a little.

:guilty:

I live in the state that drills the darn oil & premium is $2.89-was up to 3.05 around the Hurricanes.

$2.72 yesterday and I was happy to see that price, but seeing the prices posted Im bummed now....

I paid $2.69 a couple of days ago. Saw it elsewhere for $2.66 but it was more convenient to stop at the Exxon.

Hoping it goes slower as DH is making repeated trips down to New Orleans and Metairie to help his mom and sisters. He is filling up every couple days.
Ouch!!

didn't buy any yesterday but there are 3 stations within walking distance of my house. One was $2.25 one was $2.32 and the 3rd was $2.87. This is just north of Boston and all are full service. The $2.87 I pass 4 times a day walking dd to/from school and never see a car getting gas there.

2.53 here yest and I was thrilled. Sad to say we are happy with that price

2.45 as of yesterday- I a was so excited I almost hurt myself pulling into the gas station- pathetic huh??

Gas in WI is $2.64, but what is with Diesel, it keeps jumping up 12 cents a day, We pay $3.50. So don't get your hopes up with prices on other things coming down. The truck industry is still hurting. :confused3

2.55 on Thursday. That said, with Wilma headed this way, I'm sure will be higher. Filling up three times this week, I am glad it's a little lower right now.

DH has been using a gas receipt as a bookmark and refuses to throw it out. It's from last June and was for 1.59 a gallon.

$2.35 here in SE MN. Dropping steadilly these past few weeks.

My Dad paid $2.29 in a nearby small town.
