How long does it take from arrival in MCO to get to the POP on ME? We are looking at a flight that will arrive around 10am. Just wondering what time we can hope to be at the hotel. I'm trying to decide whether to eat at the airport or wait until we check in. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

There is no clear answer to your question...a lot depends on the time of year you are going.

When you arrive at MCO you must check in at the ME counter (which may or may not have a long line) and then you must go across the floor and wait for a bus (which may be ready to leave rght away, or you may need to wait 20 minutes or more). Then you get on the bus and Pop may or may not be your first stop.

In general, you can assume you will be at your hotel some time between 11 and 12. Don't forget to add in the time it will take to check in too.

Last year we arrived around 10:00 and were at our hotel by 11:15am - check in was quick and we ate lunch there in the resort.

We arrived late 10:30pm and I will never arrive that late again. We didn't get to our room until 1:30am. I guess being so late they didnt have as many people working as during the morning hours. We waited a while to check in at DME and than to check-in at the resort. We also went during Easter so it was busy.
